Sam was really great with menu suggestions and with our 4 year old son ordering! Sam's great personality made our experience even better! The atmosphere was nice and the food was excellent!!

Came in for breakfast. We stood at the front for 10 min before I went to the front desk to see if anyone was working. They went to look and couldn’t find anyone. This is odd given the reputation the try and put out for the restaurant.

We had a great meal at Olive and Ira‘s! The food was great, the drinks were great, and the service was amazing! Our waiter was Sam and he gave us all the best recommendations especially the blackened salmon and bread pudding. We wish we could’ve gone back for a second dinner! Would definitely come back next time we’re in Omaha.

I love the ambiance. Beautiful furniture and lighting. Soft jazz. Our waiter Monique was kind and attentive, not at all annoyed though we showed up 20 min before the lunch closing. Food was fine- I ordered the power salad which was mostly romaine and the toppings were sparse, no avocado (the online menu may have been out of date).

We generally visit before a show at the Orpheum. Cocktails were excellent but took 20+ minutes to get. They have a special summer cocktail menu - highly recommend the cucumber collective - light, refreshing & nice balance of sweet. (They should serve in pitchers!) I scheduled the reservation over an hour before the show, so we thought we would have enough time to order dinner - unfortunately the kitchen was backed up and because they were understaffed, we decided to go with a couple of appetizers instead. Hummus & grilled flatbread were very good. The pretzel bites & cheese dip were tasty as well. Would order both again. Make sure you allow at least an 1.5 if you want dinner.

Waited at entry 10 minutes before being sat. Restaurant was slightly busy but not enough staff for the time of day. Once seated server never came. Wanted refills on drinks that never occurred. Would not return.

I've been coming to Magnolia hotel for years prior to Sunday shows at the Orpheum. Since Olive and Ira's opened, the experience is excellent. The food is great, and our servers make sure we get done in t ime for the show.

A great place for brunch with good food and service in a relaxing atmosphere. Very convenient to the Orpheum Theater so it is great for a pre show meal and to take advantage of available street parking.

The service was slow and cumbersome... not the efficient service we were accustomed to. We asked on our Open Table reservation to be seated in Sam's section but that did not happen. Sam was working but we were not in his section. We waited almost an hour for our food and since we had theater tickets that made things a bit rushed. We understand there has been a change in management so that could be part of the issue. Also we heard they were running short because an employee called in. The food was good and arrived to our table hot. The servers looked like they were working hard and doing the best they could. We will be back to dine there again because it's close to parking and the theater. Hopefully they get things worked out and are back to running smoothly again!

Exceptional everything! The menu had been updated and improved since my last visit before an Orpheum show. Every entree and starter was fantastic. We got every starter, between us, and they all were top notch. Came out hot! Perfect temps on the proteins! Mahi Mahi and Brussels were stand outs. No room for dessert sadly but next time for sure!!!

This is very convenient if you are attending a show at the Orpheum. It is way overpriced for what you get. I have eated here several times for the convenience to the Orpheum and if I failed to get a reservation in the area before a show. They seem to struggle with servers and always seem to be a little short staffed. Recently we ordered the Salmon Crudite. It is listed for $16 on their website but it was $20 the night we ate there. It would have been overpriced at $16 so it was way overpriced for $20. Very small smoked salmon spread that basically you could buy at Trader Joe's. The smoked salmon was thin Lochs and enough for 2 of us to have one piece. Caeser salad with salmon was good. I had the Starry Night Speciality cocktail which was pretty typical price for the downtown area. It was a pretty cocktail and was very tasty. The decor of the room is really pretty but food is average and not worth the price!
