A fav place for mexican food. i was super full. definitely worth a return trip. bring your hunger - portions are large.
The restaurant shows its open online but it is NOT open. The doors and windows are all boarded up.
Fun place for some downtown downtime!
It was okay. You really have to ring the bell to get any attention however the front lady was so helpful at getting the questions answered or finding some one who could.
6 of us went to Michael's for their last day on the 27th. It was bitter sweet to hang out there for last time. (we've been going there since it 1st opened). The appetizers were were great * I'm Really going to miss the bean dip* & the MargaritaS were wonderful (the best in town). We're going to miss Michael's And Jill the wonderful bartender who's waited on us all these years.
Food was great! It's ashame that this is it. They're closing tomorrow permanently.
We had a really nice late lunch. Took my In-laws out for grandparents day. Everyone enjoyed there food & the staff was incredible. We hate to see Michael's go but Michael deserves a break & to enjoy retirement. Thank you for many years of great food & company. We'll try to come in one more time before you close the doors for good. 😔
I ordered to-go from the bar. The staff were nice. The food...not so much. My cheese dip was ice cold, my taco was floppy and bland.
Restaurant boasts, “Since 1971†Restaurant longevity only happens when you're outstanding. It was, in every way! Authentic, amazing Mexican food served up by friendly staff in a great atmosphere!
The food was terrible and had no flavor.

Terrible stop for a Saturday afternoon in the old market. Went in for a quick margarita and told host we were just going to sit at the bar, no one was behind the bar and host left to go tall to her co-workers so we decided to leave. Not a good experience.
I ordered the two tacos with rice and beans off the lunch menu. Complimentary chips and salsa. The waitress was fast and got the hint I was just in during a lunch break so she gave me the check without my needing to ask. Total was 7.68 plus whatever you decide to tip. The food was nothing to write home about but I would go back for the affordability and service.
Very disappointed. A picture is worth a thousand words, enough said. For the record this is the Michel's Original Burrito with Beef tips all four pieces
Good place to go for drinks, nice environment
Great place for a quick lunch. Great service and food, reasonably priced.
