Fun place for some downtown downtime!

It was okay. You really have to ring the bell to get any attention however the front lady was so helpful at getting the questions answered or finding some one who could.

6 of us went to Michael's for their last day on the 27th. It was bitter sweet to hang out there for last time. (we've been going there since it 1st opened). The appetizers were were great * I'm Really going to miss the bean dip* & the MargaritaS were wonderful (the best in town). We're going to miss Michael's And Jill the wonderful bartender who's waited on us all these years.

Literally sitting inside still. Food and specialty drinks are booty. Dry rice. Dry beans. Queso and salsa are really good! Service was okay. Haven't had this bad of a good experience in Omaha in awhile. We will not be returning.

We had a really nice late lunch. Took my In-laws out for grandparents day. Everyone enjoyed there food & the staff was incredible. We hate to see Michael's go but Michael deserves a break & to enjoy retirement. Thank you for many years of great food & company. We'll try to come in one more time before you close the doors for good. 😔

I ordered to-go from the bar. The staff were nice. The food...not so much. My cheese dip was ice cold, my taco was floppy and bland.

I have never, ever, left so much unfinished food at the table before. For starters, we ordered the elote bites and nachos. The nachos were pretty much a worse version of what you got at your high school football games except with a terrible avocado spread, black olives, dry chicken, and tomato. The elote bites are a weird menu item I've never seen before but I wouldn't recommend, tasted frozen and the corn is straight out of a can. I ordered the Fajitas and I wish I wouldn't have. They were swimming in grease, the rice was dry, and the shrimp was over cooked. My girlfriend ordered a quesadilla and let me tell ya, I didn't know it was possible to mess up the chicken fingers of a Mexican restaurant. It was bland with a soggy nasty tortilla. She got a tostada but didn't even take a bite, it was a combination of all the nasty things that were in her quesadilla. The best thing I had at Michaels was the Arnold Palmer. I paid $60 for a bite of each menu item.

Restaurant boasts, “Since 1971” Restaurant longevity only happens when you're outstanding. It was, in every way! Authentic, amazing Mexican food served up by friendly staff in a great atmosphere!

The food was terrible and had no flavor.

Terrible stop for a Saturday afternoon in the old market. Went in for a quick margarita and told host we were just going to sit at the bar, no one was behind the bar and host left to go tall to her co-workers so we decided to leave. Not a good experience.

I ordered the two tacos with rice and beans off the lunch menu. Complimentary chips and salsa. The waitress was fast and got the hint I was just in during a lunch break so she gave me the check without my needing to ask. Total was 7.68 plus whatever you decide to tip. The food was nothing to write home about but I would go back for the affordability and service.

Very disappointed. A picture is worth a thousand words, enough said. For the record this is the Michel's Original Burrito with Beef tips all four pieces
