I was here for a few different comedy shows and the crowd has always been welcoming and had a great time. Luke Severeid and all of the performers did a fabulous job. So glad we brought our friends to this show!

Most welcoming bar in town. Staffed by the absolute BEST people. The patio out back is cozy and partially covered, great for a drink on a rainy day. This is a Queer and POC friendly space, and they don’t take kindly to people who have a problem with that. Seriously the BEST bar in Benson if not all of Omaha.
Good Dive Bar For Great Music. Thanks Tumbleweed,Dolly, el'jefe, JawNeeVee.
Great Time

Favorite dive lgbt+ friendly bar in town. Lots of fun shows here.
Employee made fun of dead friend, calling him a pedo for no reason. Sick woman. Her name is Joselyn.
Definitely the best queer friendly spot in Benson, a little loud sometimes but the outside area behind the main bar is always gonna be a bit quieter if you need it

I'm sure as a bar? It's a nice little hole-in-the-wall. But for a brunch? A drag brunch? A disaster. The venue has virtually no seats unless you're one of the first 12 people in the door. There were at least 30 people just standing with nowhere to place their drinks and/or food. Oh, and the food? Not food safe. Just in trays sitting out on a foldable table. Nothing being kept warm. The gravy for the biscuits was in a Tupperware container with a few flies around it. And there were ZERO serving utensils aside from the gravy, meaning everyone was touching it with their hands. For $20 a ticket, the food should at least be at the level of a 2 star hotel. The show also didn't start when it was advertised. It said 11, and by 11:25 it hadn't started! I love drag and will always support local drag, but not at a place like this. Not coming back to this business again. $20 absolutely WASTED. And this was my first drag brunch, too. Do better or don't do these at all.

First time coming here and went for the drag brunch Sunday and there was no seating left, like they oversold the venue to where at least 40-50 people are standing. And don't get me started on the "brunch". It was biscuits in old tupperware, a small container of country gravy, sausages, strawberries, and 8 jars of brown gravy with NO SERVING UTENSILS. Nothing was held at their appropriate temperature which is not food safe in any way especially since doors opened at 10am. Needless to say, I paid $20 to stand and starve. I get that you have to pay for the drag queens, but chafing dishes and chafing fuel is inexpensive, go to the dollar tree if you have to. Don't advertise it as a brunch and have it be worse than a hotel continental breakfast. Can't comment on the drag because it was supposed to start at 11am, but it didn't we left at 11:25am. I won't be wasting my money on this disorganized mess ever again!

This place had such a cool vibe. Definitely felt very creative and accepting. Lgbtq friendly, great bartenders and the patrons really make this a great supportive and friendly place!

I travelled from KC to perform at this venue for a Pride event in June 2024. They had a private space for performers, the stage had good lighting and was elevated so the whole bar could see.
The energy was great, the audience really loved the burlesque and shibari.

My favorite dive bar in Omaha. Super inclusive, amazing local music and comedy, and I've never felt safer as a woman in a bar than I do at the Syd.

This is a dive bar. It is very inclusive of queer and trans people, all races and ethnicities etc. No fancy cocktails, tiny stage and it gets LOUD when a band is playing. Not Sparkling clean, as you might expect from a dive bar. The bartenders are great, very friendly and will quickly take care of people who cause problems. As long you as you're not a creep or a jerk you'll get along fine. Regulars like it for a reason because you can do whatever the hell you want as long as you're not bothering anyone. You can bring in food and eat it, play games, have a jam session on the patio, whatever you want. Super safe for women, LGBTQIA+ folks, and PoC. Safe enough, but not pleasant for folks who have a problem with the aforementioned groups of people. You might want to just stick with Applebee's if pride flags and BLM stickers trigger you. No food served btw

I was harassed both by the patrons on the patio and by the bar tender .I heard the bar tender openly smokes bowls while working the bar. He was more concerned with performing his stand up than seeing what was going down when I asked for help.Ignored me when I said I was being messed with. My phone was stolen and I had to grab it back. Bar tender mocked me for bringing up being assaulted on the patio. What a douche. Not a safe environment. Cops came out. Fun night
