We ordered sesame chicken. I know what you're thinking, that's boring and why would you order that. Not true it was crispy and came out with a rich sauce with some broccoli and rice absolutely delicious. We talked to an Omaha native while in the restaurant he said this was his favorite Chinese restaurant in Omaha.

I moved to Seattle and Denver after living in Omaha and have NEVER been able to find a Chinese American place as good as 3 happiness. I just drove 8 hours to have their food for my birthday

I really wanted to like it since I live nearby and I've heard nothing but great things about the food here, but I did not like it all. I ordered 2 of their daily specials to try a variety of items, and was not impressed. The entrees are slathered in a sweet sauce that oddly has no flavor. The soups (I tried egg drop and sweet and sour) were extremely salty and oily. The color of the sauces are very odd and off putting. For example, the pepper chicken was shiny bright red- very strange.

Turning my previous 1-star review into a solid 4-star rating! Despite past disappointments and post-COVID changes, I gave it another shot. Opted for the orange chicken instead of the teriyaki due to a recipe change. The rice, chicken, pricing, and portion size were all fantastic. Even had leftovers for a second serving the next day!

Tonight was my family's first time ordering food from Three Happiness Express. I have see so many positive reviews. We ordered peanut butter chicken, beef lo mein & chicken lo mein.Let's stat with the pros food portions are very large and can be split among multiple people. This is the only positive I have.ConsEgg rolls were burnt and almost black peanut butter sauce was extremely to thick and overflowing EVERYWHERE along with the chicken being completely burnt unable to stab a fork into it. both lo mein's were very tasteless. To be honest hands down the worst chineese food we have ever had. My family will not be returning. I did not see the cook overwhelmed with orders just bad food!

Amazing customer service. You can tell there is a lot of love and care that goes into not only running this restaurant but also into the food. Big portion sizes and meals packed with flavor are worth the price. I can't recommend this place enough. It's my new go to Chinese restaurant and it should be yours too!

I visited here for the first time today. I had heard the great reviews and they were not wrong. The Kung Pao was the best I've had in Omaha. It came out hot and fresh. You can see the fresh spices in the dish. The beef was very tender and a little sweet which I love. The crab Rangoon that came with the meal had a great crisp shell. I ordered a hot and sour soup. It was good, not great. This place isn't very close to where I live, but I will be making the trip back to try additional dishes soon.

Yuck. The food is not very good here. It is all served on plastic plates. Too sweet. Too expensive. Weird music playing. Mostly takeout with sketchy locals with tats and piercings. Girls saying, "like, like, like." I won't be back.

So happy that it's open on Sunday! Overall it was decent average takeout. I got the Yum Yum chicken and a side of fried rice. The fried rice was bland. The Yum Yum was decent. Although I ordered online, I had to wait in line for about 10 minutes to get it. I wish there was a system for to-go orders.

We order takeout and pick it up. We always order two entrées and a large quart of hot and sour soup. The bill is always $32. This is the absolute best hot and sour soup in Omaha. My husband gets the shrimp fried rice and I get the vegetable lo mein. Before turning vegan I used to get beef lo mein. The lo mein here is incredible. They also have the a REALLY GOOD KUNG POW Chicken, I haven’t tried it with fried tofu yet, but that’s how I am ordering it next time. My son loves the peanut butter chicken here, but you have to Really love peanut butter If you order this. The only thing I’ve ever tried that Isn’t great Are The egg rolls, neither my husband nor I care for them.Vegetarian options: Besides the vegan options on the menu, They have fried tofu you can substitute for any Of the meat or Seafood entrées. They load up the vegetables when ordering for vegan/vegetarians.

My go to Chinese place in Omaha! The food is always fresh and the service is great!I often get take out which is very convenient. The food is ready quickly.I've been coming to Three Happiness for a few years now. My absolute favorite thing on the menu is their Peanut Butter Chicken, which imo is best with the breaded white meat (special request). Must try in Omaha.
