Service was very good. The bacon on our breakfast order was under cooked and very fatty. The potato side could have been cooked a bit more as well.

Opentable Diner

Ribeye and Wagyu were excellent! Cocktails were served in smaller than usual cocktail glasses.

Outstanding. I had the Cedar Planked Salmon and my wife had the Timburger. Both were delicious. This was our 3rd time dining here and it never disappoints.

If you're looking for a great atmosphere combined with excellent wood-fired fare, than Timber is 5 stars. Highly recommend.

There were 4 people in my party for 10 am brunch reservation. Our server was wonderful. All four of our dishes were cold.

I love the wide variety of the menu and the large amount of Gluten Free options. Everyone can always find something lovely to eat. The maple glazed cedar plank salmon was delicious!

Went in on New Year's Day (evening). They were a bit short staffed so stops at our table during the stay weren't as frequent as normal. Otherwise everything was great.

We went for a date night and had a gift card. Shrimp crab cakes were good. The margarita pizza hit differently as a fire oven. Great taste. Unique drink selection. I probably won't go back as I dont consider myself highbrow. Reservation is needed so walkin are frowned upon, but luckily we got the bar service.

I've been here before, but today I came in with just my wife and we were ignored for about 15 minutes. The hostess came to clear a table and we asked if we had a server. She went to get one and said they would be over soon. Another five minutes go by and nothing, so we left. One if the owners was standing by the bar and we told her what happened and she didn't seem to care very much and tried to point us to the manager.
That was ridiculous. Probably never going back.

Here's a bustling bistro with a culinary crew (CC) carrying the show! If you persist passed their parking puzzle, survive the substandard wait staff (ws) service, you're in for a cloth-napkin kind of treat!!

Despite our noon arrival, we expected to enjoy our gifted lunches with their stacked timber cords inducing a festive atmosphere, perfect for the mild winter weather. The front end team promptly greeted us, providing a good initial experience. We endured the ws brief, disconnected salutation and needed time to align the website to the actual food-stained menu facing us. Our ws didn't bother asking if this was our first visit, offered zero suggestions, and presented us the attitude of inconvenience repeatedly; never checked on us, informing us 'WE (emphasized over the lunchtime noise) don't do that' when asked about another guest's plate, didn't ask if the cocktail needs replenishment, and then let our waters run completely dry including the ice before dropping off the check.

BUT our gMap-Family readers know & want positivity and I tip my hat and heart-health to the CC who COMMANDS their spotlight! While I omitted my normal photo shoot this round, the delicate shrimp & crab cake concoction rivals any culinary syndicate presentation and exemplified the wood fire flavors albeit an appetizer, definitely no small plate. I opted for the house-ground lamb burger with raspberry & jalapeño (faintly-hinted) jam, red onion (over powering but quickly & easily fixed, even for digestive sensitive guests), herbed goat cheese (gently melted from my medium heated lamb), and fries (timber-tasty, idk how their CC pulled that off).

Consider skipping the cocktail and schedule a generous cushion for your afternoon trip or simply stop by after you finish work - drive responsibly every visit since you're exiting a parking puzzle. Our gratitude to the culinary crew {CC) for showing up to highlight our visit.

Okay Food, Slow Service, Not Quite Worth the Price!!!

Shelby and I ate at Timber Wood Fire Bistro yesterday while taking a day trip from KC. We came in around 1:30pm on a Tuesday, so the restaurant wasn’t busy, but everything came out extremely slowly.

We ordered the jalapeño bacon shrimp skewer, the mini wedge salad, the Cajun Ribeye, and the Wagyu steak and fries. The food itself was okay. Nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out for the price point.

Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but between the slow service and the just-okay food, it didn’t feel worth what we paid. I would not go out of my way to return.

Food is so good, somehow classic dishes but also all unique or with a twist. Nancy was the best server I've had anywhere in years!! So kind, personable, and attentive. We'll be back if only for her!!
