We have been coming here over couple years, when in Omaha, and wanting upscale food, we had the "Warm Board" for first time, LOVED IT, The French Onion Soup always favorite, this time my wife had Chopped Brisket Tacos, and loved them, I had Steak and Frites, which was fabulous. We have had Steaks, the Salmon, all great, We love this wonderful place, tiny bit nosy, but busy. While we are not always in Omaha, you can NEVER go wrong here.

Love the Grill- We made reservations and asked for a quiet table. We had a great table and the food was the BEST. One of my favorite places to be.

Emily was our server. She was delightful, the food was delicious (as it always is) and the atmosphere was wonderful.

Always have the best selections to choose from appetizers to desserts The drinks are crafted very well & the service is always helpful & engaging A little noisier than usual just due to a number of families heading to Westside game night but still good ambiance

Exceptional service! Manager Jason went out of his way to ensure our group, while erroneously displaced from the private room, felt valued. We were impressed with Timber Woodfire Bistro and will definitely visit again! Chloe, our server, was wonderful. Great food, fabulous brunch drinks, and amazing overall experience!

Our service was great, however, that was the only positive of the experience. We've been here many times, and it seems as if the place is going down hill. I probably won't ever go back, which is disappointing. 1. The food was undercooked (bacon on shrimp) - the presentation and quality didn't equate to an $18 app. I've had this appetizer many times before and was shocked at how small it had gotten. 2. Shrimp and mussels smelled and tasted like they went bad. It was inedible. 3. They charged us for extra bread for our mussels which is odd knowing they don't give enough to begin with. 4. The bathrooms were disgusting - humid, smelled bad, dirty, and dark. 5. The overall place is dirty - our table wasn't cleaned off, flies everywhere, and sticky floors. 6. Sauce on the wings were great BUT the chicken tasted funky It sucks knowing we spent quite a bit of money to have a poor experience. However, lessons learned. I really hope Timber reads the constructive feedback and improves; unfortunately they've lost a lot of what made them a great establishment.

Did Restaurant Week menu. Everything was absolutely delicious and portions were large. Service was great. Never felt rushed.

We visited Timber for a night out with friends on a Sunday evening. We had reservations but it didn't appear there was a wait for seating, so while reservations are a great idea it doesn't appear to be a deal breaker.
We ordered Chopped Brisket Tacos, Timburger, Stroganoff and Ribs. They had unfortunately ran out of Ribs so an audible was called and the Filet was ordered in its place. The tacos were accidentally punched in as Salmon, it was an easy and quick fix to bring out the correct food.
The Tacos were delicious, very good flavor with just the right amount of heat. The Mac and cheese side that came with them was good, but the noodles, possibly by design, were more al dente than I prefer.
The Timburger was really nice, a bit dry (overcooked) but adding the garlic aioli definitely helped. The jalapeno bacon in the burger was pretty darn spicy. The truffle fries were fantastic.
The filet was good, not terrible, not remarkable, but good.
The stroganoff was delicious, no complaints here.
We also ordered the Warm Board as an appetizer. All components were delightful and was the perfect start to the meal.
It was a bit louder inside than I expected but it was still a good atmosphere, low lights with candles on the table.
We would definitely come back for another visit.

The food was absolutely amazing! Everything we ate was an absolute flavor bomb and our server Emily was a delight! She was so helpful with the menu as it was our first time there and was very attentive as well. We will definitely be coming back to try other dishes since it was so hard to choose which dish to try first.

Visited Timber 9/6/2025 around 4:30 during happy hour. Really enjoyed a Skinny Legs IPA on tap and superb Quattro Formagio pizza. Husband loved the homemade pasta and sausage meatballs with Old Soul wine. Relaxing atmosphere. Phoebe the waitress and the person helping her deliver the food were very kind. Looking forward to stopping back in soon!!!

Excellent first time experience at Timber! We were pleasantly surprised by the rustic elegance of the restaurant, which has an unassuming exterior and corner location in what appears like a strip mall. This is exactly what we needed after a long drive from Chicago - cozy, quiet table, great service and welcoming staff, and a delicious meal! We had the soup of the day, which was a crab and shrimp bisque, but was actually more of a comforting, smoky chowder with a generous amount of vegetables and seafood. This was followed by a salad and the steak bites appetizer(tender steak strips with well seasoned brown sauce and caramelized onions, paired with the addictive grilled sourdough bread). We were already full but had ordered the red wine and pear pizza, and so took a couple of slices, appreciating the quality prosciutto and the red wine/balsamic topping and thin, chewy crust. Not sure if the pizza was supposed to be cool (although pan seemed warm); it was certainly good, but we would have preferred a hot and crispier version. But we enjoyed everything and so we packed our leftovers for another time to enjoy it as a snack, which we did. We felt fortunate to have Devin as our server. He made us feel relaxed and offered great advice. We found out later from family in Omaha that Timber is also on their list of favorites.
