Food was good, authentic! Paloma was ok,a bit on small side for myself and had to ask for another since was being run by only a couple people on a Saturday.

We love the margaritas. All made with fresh ingredients. The chef understands Celiac disease and is able to make my meals gluten free. I haven't had good luck finding Mexican restaurants that can make food that is safe for Celiac. Have eaten here many times without a problem.

We were looking for a place to eat before the INK show at The Admiral 🤘🤘🤘. I googled everything within walking distance and decided on Tixteco. Super happy I did!
Chips and choice of Salsas to start. My husband ordered Coffee and it came in a cool clay mug. He decided on 2 Traditional Tacos, the Carne Asada and Chivo (Goat). He gets excited when he finds things like that on the menu. He wasn't overly hungry but they disappeared quickly!
I also went with 2 Tacos both with Tilapia as my protein. One Traditional with Onions and Cilantro, One Americano with Lettuce, Cheese, Tomato, Guac, and Sour Cream. I liked both! The highlight for me was the Quesadilla Masa, it was made with a fresh soft corn tortilla and stuffed with gooey cheese. You can choose any Meat or Mushrooms or Poblanos like I got.
I am Not Lying when I say I could eat that Every Day!!!
The place is small but welcoming. Staff was very friendly and kind. Food took a little bit but was worth the wait. We were running late so we didn't get a chance to try a yummy Marg which looked delicious! Next time...

Chicken mole is super tender, great flavor with just a pinch of spice. Steak gordita was good too! Owner waited on us. So authentic it feels like being in Mexico. Definitely coming back very soon.
