I’ve never had sweet potato fries like theirs! Plump, crispy and flavorful. Those are a must. I had a Swiss chicken sandwich on nice, soft, and warm ciabatta. You know how sometimes you get a sandwich and the ciabatta is rock hard? Not here! The sandwich melts in your mouth with avocado, bacon and a nice aïoli. Fun spot in Omaha in the old market district.

Twisted Fork is a fantastic culinary gem in Omaha that never ceases to amaze! The restaurant's vibrant and quirky decor sets a fun, welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for casual meals or special occasions.
The menu is creatively crafted, featuring a variety of dishes that showcase bold flavors and fresh ingredients. I absolutely loved the brisket tacos—they were juicy, flavorful, and perfectly complemented by the house-made salsa. The Twisted Fork Burger is another highlight, boasting a delicious blend of toppings that make every bite a savory delight.
The drink menu is equally impressive, offering a selection of craft beers and signature cocktails. The Moscow Mule I had was refreshing and well-balanced, truly a great pairing to complement my meal.
Service here is attentive and friendly, with staff members eager to make recommendations and ensure a pleasant dining experience. If you're in Omaha, don't miss out on Twisted Fork—its innovative dishes and vibrant atmosphere make it a must-visit!

Overall, the service was good. They were accommodating with dogs on the outside patio. The wait time was reasonable for it being dinner time. The tater tots were good. It definitely is a savory type of food and not too greasy or salty. I like the accommodation with the salmon I replaced with mashed potatoes. I will say the only complaints would be the veggies being a bit bland as well as mashed potatoes. I think the chunks of shallots are hard to eat as it gave very onion pungent taste. It would be nice if they were thinly sliced and sautéed further to bring out more of a sweetness. The person with me ordered the same just with rice. I found their salmon to be charred compared to mine. I think for me the burnt parts of the salmon were not great. Also the bed of rice I found mushy. Which I don’t know if it’s how it normally is but it seemed like more risotto than your typical steamed rice.

Came here with my boyfriend on Valentine’s day after every other restaurant was full. I was overjoyed that we didn’t have to wait for available seating and our server was super friendly. Overall, the food and service combined was a 10/10 and this place deserves all 5 stars that I’m leaving in this review.
Great little spot in Old Market. Has a small outdoor seating area also. The food was amazing!!

I reserved 4 seats for my birthday dinner almost a week in advance. When I arrived, the restaurant was not crowded (maybe 6–8 people) and had open tables. I did notice it was predominantly white, which already made me feel uneasy.
I greeted the host, told him four, and he walked away as if he needed permission to seat us. He came back and said, “sorry, we aren’t seating anyone else today.” This made no sense given the open space and my reservation.
I left, but the situation didn’t sit right with me. It made me question whether this decision was racially motivated. Segregation didn’t disappear, it just changed form.

We had reservations on a night of a concert which was good. The place was packed so we knew we had made the right choice. We had the meatloaf and truffle chicken. Both were terrific. Lots of good selections on the menu. Yanessa was our waitress and did a nice job serving us.
