Unimpressed with the food given the reviews. Waited 30 minutes, so was hopeful it was a good spot. The margarita was so syrupy sweet I had to return it. You could tell just by looking at it. The "famous" fried chicken salad was terrible...I ate less than half of it. The breading was crispy but flavorless. The bowl was so small I couldn't mix the salad itself because the chicken took up the entire top. The bartender was friendly and attentive, so at least the service was good.

We had never ate here before we were visiting town. I was craving mashed potatoes found this as an option so we decided to check it out. The place was pretty busy. We were sat at the bar. There were no tables, but the bar was only one person. It was pretty dirty. They did wipe it off, but it still remained pretty sticky. We ordered food. It did take quite a while, but like I said, they were busy the bad thing though, even though we waited for a while, my food was cold. I wasn’t impressed by the mashed potatoes, which was sad because that’s why we went. They had no flavor. The Mocktail I had was really good. The bartender was very nice. Overall not a bad experience. The food was OK.

The pork chop was not as good as advertised. It was burnt and covered with gravy as a disguise.

We had lunch here a couple of months ago while exploring Old Market and had a delightful time. The food was great (my photo doesn't do the fried pickles justice). I had the Lunch Meatloaf and my wife had the French Dip with sweet potato fries. All delicious!

Unfortunately they really missed the mark the past Thursday. What was a surprise was waiting over an hour for our food and the restaurant wasn’t busy. I ordered the grilled cheese and sweet potato fries and to my surprise they both came battered and deep fried. Battered sweet potato fries are not good to say the least and the menu does not state they are battered before fried. The grilled cheese being deep fried was basically destroyed. I’m not sure why that’s not explained on the menu either. Hopefully this was a one off but I won’t be back to find out.

Wanted this place to be better than it was.
On recommendation of waitress, ordered the pork chop and it was dry.

Kid-friendliness: Decent kid menu.

I had the salmon, it was okay. My husband got the meat loaf, and he did not like it. There was too much rosemary to where he couldn't eat his meal the drinks were okay. Restroom. Wasn't the best place to go. The one who got a club sandwich had the best meal.

Worst service I have ever received and the food was terrible! Started off with waitress never bringing our toddler a booster seat after several times of asking and not receiving I decided to go find one myself. The table next to use had a group of teenagers one being sick with non stop sneezing not even covering her nose, asked to be moved and waitress said not possible, we asked for one of our orders to go and the Waitress put each of our dinners in a to go box and gave us a check and told us we can take it home or eat the food in our to go container at table!!!!! The steak was fatty and hard over cooked,my daughter ordered grill cheese and it was covered in hot seasoning.

So the food was really good on the other hand the waitress who goes I don't know where with my credit card and who comes back without telling me a moment and it was another who brought it back to me when I left somewhere, that's it. Don't worry, I immediately blocked online payments, prevention is better than cure

My lunch was very good. I originally ordered the French dip but they came back and told me they were out of that for the day.

Sad, because I was wanting it pretty bad, but I am super flexible with food like that because it just happens sometimes and definitely not worth getting all bent out of shape about.

My second choice was their gourmet 4 cheese Grilled cheese. It had tomato and bacon in it as well as the cheeses and a parmesan garlic spread that was grilled into the bread that added an excellent crunch.

I also had the bacon guacamole for my appetizer and it was perfect. I love that they add extra pieces of the thick cut bacon on top that you can just eat without anything else.

We were visiting Omaha for the weekend and decided to eat at Twisted Fork. We tried Bucks fried pickles. Lightly breaded and so good. I tried the meatloaf and mac and cheese. I was disappointed. My whole dinner was cold. Someone in my group tried the apple pear crisp. I tried some of it and it was so delicious! If my dinner was warm the rating would have been better.
