I've now tried roughly 10 pizza joints around Omaha, and I can confidently say Valentino's is the only bad one.The price is way too high for what you get.The food itself is arguably edible at best. The "Famous Garlic Bread" is more infamous than anything. A few cheese shreds on a buttered sesame seed bun for $6. Just no.The pizza was thrown away after 2 slices.The one good thing about this place was the people working behind the counter.Overall, I'd go to any other pizza joint in Omaha before I'd go to another Valentino's.

I would like to take a moment to update my Review of this Valentino's that took it from 4 to 5 stars across the board. The other day when we were calling in an order for pick up we called and oddly didn't get answer and that happens when a place is busy but what Emily did next was some amazing customer service. While it may seem simple to most I don't think I have ever had a place realize they missed a call and then take the time to pull the caller ID and call us back. Nearly every other place would have just said "they'll call back" but not Emily. She called us back and apologized profusely for missing the call and then gladly took our order and again apologized. It might be a small thing but it was meaningful to us and left an impact on our experience and should be rewarded.

Friendly and polite staff, the lunch specials are a good deal. They have a salad bar so you can customize your lunch salad. The pizza is decent, the sauce had a light flavor but could use more/different spices. The dough is regular thickness. The lasagna was a little too plain, mostly pasta strips and tomato sauce. They went thin with the meat & cheese. Plenty of seating available for the smaller crowd that comes here. Free refills on the self-serve fountain drinks.
