Varsity Sports Cafe & Roman Coin Pizza

This used to be my favorite place for pizza. Tonight, my bread sticks we're burnt, my pizza was mediocre, I got one piece of sausage. Our server beyond slow.

Love Roman Coin pizza..Varsity. Awesome mozzarella breadsticks and sauce, side salad, and pizza....yummy cheese! Sitting outside on the patio with the beautiful lake view...so peaceful. Wonderful service! Bravo!!!!

Great place. Poor service. Slow to take orders, slow to deliver food. Disappointed with treatment from both the server and manager when we asked about the status of our order. After another long wait, we were told our pizza was delivered to the wrong table.
When we finally got our pizza, it was cold. The manager argued with me about me feeling we shouldn't be charged for this pizza. He walked away. Ultimately, the server informed me that they would give us a 50% discount. That was nice, but I probably won't return.

Walked in been here many times. Have never had an issue until tonight. Lady was rude and wanted to have a confrontation over a table that was supposedly reserved which no signs table needed cleaned party was leaving. No bigger tables at this time. No issue I go back in as I was at the tailed end of this conversation with my wife I got in she said she's the manager and really just wanted to argue with me. Not the person Id want running my business.

Drinks were poured strong and the service was great. Pizza pretty good. Nice patio and will definitely go back

Worst restaurant I’ve ever been too, the little Ben kid took 30 mins to bring us our drinks and 2 hours to bring out appetizers. There was only 2 other tables on a Saturday afternoon. I bet the owner has 3 months til this dump pit goes under

all around the worst experience ever. we came in with a party of 10 on sunday afternoon. there was maybe 3 other tables in there as well. it must have been our server’s first shift alone, so it wasn’t entirely his fault. management should make sure their staff knows how to do their job before making them go on their own.
since 3 people in our party arrived first, they got their drinks and the rest of us had to wait 10 minutes for our server to come back. then we had to wait 2 hours for our food, which most of came out one at a time. which again, i understand, but you should be letting your table know that your food will come out as it comes up from the kitchen. most of us had finished out food before one person in our party got their burger.
i then had to go up to the POS system to help our server figure out the checks for each person… the checking out process was absolutely horrific as well. our server took 20 minutes to cash everyone out.
THEN, everyone checked their bank accounts last night, and he charged each person 2 or more times, and upwards of $400. when we called back to see what was going on, whoever answered said “well if you guys stopped calling me and interrupting me, i would be able to fix it” WTH!
if you enjoy absolutely subpar service, semi okay food, a horrible management team, and being charged minimum two times for your bill & being charged $400 for your $80 bill, then go right ahead and visit varsity.
this definitely sucks quite a bit for my family, since my older brother, who passed away, enjoyed going to varsity’s. will definitely not be coming back.

I just picked up a meat lover's pizza to go. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, but it was good. A decent choice if you're in the area. Service was fast and friendly. I'd stop here again if I was in the area and hungry.Their pickup window is awkward though unless you're really short. I'm 6' 2" and had to duck down a foot or two in order to talk to people behind the counter since there is a big frosted glass window right in the way higher up. It's weird.
