Food was meh and the bartender had zero personality. We walked out after having an appetizer.

This was my first time at Voodoo and today will not be my last. There is so much more to try.

Had a great lunch at Voodoo Taco in Aksarben with my partner! He ordered the build-your-own beef burrito with Cajun rice and refried beans, and I tried the Baja fish taco, fried chicken taco, and cilantro rice. The entrees were great, especially the fish taco—love the sriracha mayo sauce and avocado on it! The cilantro rice was oddly bland, even with tomatoes and cotijo cheese crumbles on it. But that's not what we were there for anyways.
They have four kinds of coke on the machine (diet, regular, sugar free, cherry) with limited other options for soda. But I'm a cherry coke girlie, so I'm not complaining.

The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming. It's a grab-your-own setup for drinks and silverware, and when one of the employees noticed I hadn’t picked up a fork yet, she brought one over without me even asking. It was such a small gesture, but it really stood out. Love when people go the extra mile just to be kind. We’ll definitely be back! 🌮✨

The tacos were all fantastic. We tried 4 different ones. The staff seemed a bit scatter-brained, three of the fountain drinks were out of syrup, and none were changed out when they were made aware.

The food has really gone down hill from what it used to me. The rice and beans are extremely plain with no flavor or seasoning. The chicken was overcooked and stringy. I would not recommend this place.

Can’t say it was bad or good. It was just average, from the ingredients and the name I was super excited to try them while I was in town. Can’t say I would go back or not. I ordered the zombie tots, they were good just really didn’t have much of the ingredients or at least I thought it should have more. The tacos were good, I ordered the Barbacoa and thought all I tasted was the meat not the other ingredients. The bang bang shrimp and dirty bird had lots of good flavors but the fried part of them where way over cooked or the fry oil was dirty because all I had was an aftertaste of fried dirty oil. Great concept but not on my list to return. Also was a little upset because I already had some tacos I wanted when I arrived and was told they didn’t have steak so that eliminated 2 of the tacos I wanted.

Johan , and Kendall were great!
5 Stars!

I had an incredible dining experience . From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. The ambiance was cozy and stylish—perfect for a relaxed evening out.

We started with the gator tacos which was beautifully presented and full of flavor. For the main course, I had the bang bang shrimp , and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked and seasoned. My friend ordered the nachos we were impressed.

Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for top-notch food and service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I've had an alligator ricebowl both times I went, and it was so yummy. Looks and tastes more like thin slices of smoked sausage, than what I thought alligator would taste like. I made mine as mild as I could. My son ordered dirty bird nachos, and both enjoy getting to choose what toppings are added.

Service was excellent! Food was sooooo good! We were able to thank the chefs for preparing our delicious meals and one of them even had family in Grandview which is near our hometown of Kansas City!! The rice bowl satisfied all of my tastebuds and that ghost sauce was fire! They also had the Best birria quesadillas I’ve ever had!! Thank you and we will be back!

My friend and I aren't originally from Omaha and we had spent a long day walking around the Omaha Zoo for 4 hours. Decided to stop in here to try something new and the experience was EXCELLENT after being hungry and tired. GM gave us free chips and salsa after I told him I forgot to order them. Offered to remake my rice bowl if I didn't like it. Hooked us up with plenty of to go boxes after we were finished. Made us feel like we could get everything we needed to relax and leave with full bellies. Super laid back. AWESOME customer service. Great atmosphere. 10 out of freaking 10 all around from both myself and my friend.
