WheatFields has long been a family favorite and a perfect place to celebrate Mother's Day. While the restaurant is only open until 2 p.m., the deli is often open until 3 p.m., but not always. I never thought you could get good French onion soup to go, but they mastered it! We also got a tuna croissant sandwich and a gluten-free quiche. Both were delicious! The service was perfect as well. Not to be punny, but the icing on the cake was picking up some strawberry wedding cake cupcakes, one of several signature bakery items. I think I wish there was a Wheatfields near me?!
Fast forward seven months, for a return trip: When is the right time for lobster and crab cakes? Anytime at Wheatfields! I had them with their eggs Benedict served on their signature potatoes. It was so good! The yolks were slightly overcooked, but only for the traditional style of eggs Benedict. The creamy potatoes more than made up for it in flavor and moisture. A definite do again!
For take out, I grabbed a crustless quiche for two, chicken noodle soup with thick homemade noodles, a large cinnamon roll and a piece of strawberry wedding cake. The latter two should make it to family that couldn't make it ;) By the way, they have a decent gluten free selection. The few that I've tried have been delish! Lastly, they also have a party room for large groups.

One One Pacific Place is a good restaurant /bakery, but the West Omaha location is significantly different. The west Bakery items are not up to the standards of the other locations. The specialty bread was old 2 out of 3 visits. Soup is still good, but the restaurant menu is limited. Need to focus on being a bakery or a restaurant; at least to start . Trying to do both is hurting the location

Best Pies and other baked goods made from scratch. They really do a great job when you need help catering for small groups as well.

It's like the hidden bakery that sells everything. I always blame them for me getting fat. Oh well it's a great place

First time I've been disappointed in Wheatfields. Got 2 pieces of the Strawberry Wedding Cake, a cinnamon roll and a fruitloop marshmallow treat. NONE of these were any good. Strawberries on and in cake were scarce, old looking and dry, roll was dry and tasted old(no, it was not in the day old area) and fruitloop treat was tasteless. Threw it out.
Certainly something has changed here and its not for the better. Waste of $30.

I had the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had in my whole life today! Way to go Wheatfields! My wife's hash browns were a little well done but the ham and eggs were perfect! My sons and grandson's meals were very good. They had a half of a Belgian waffle, eggs, bacon and a roll and a sweet roll

Bummed the menu has been reduced but the food was excellent! With it closing at 2 we don't get to eat there as much as we would like.

Had I not been meeting a friend that I never would have gone. I'm sure the baked goods are delicious but I don't eat those and I thought the breakfast was mediocre at best

Couldn't tell you because I won't go. Convenience fee? What's that now?
We stopped there Thursday looked around and ended up getting a piece of coconut pie, it was like grandma use to make. We ate it there and I noticed that they had dog cookies. 1 for 1.39 or a 3 package for $3.99 so I decided to get that and when he rang it up it came to over $5.00. I said the sign says 3.99 he said oh I forgot to change the price. Well where I cone from you pay what the price says by the item not what he thought it should be marked up to. I will not return for that reason. The older guy working there was not very friendly at all. Bad attitude, should have stayed home that day. Sorry I tell it like it is.
