The store was busy when we got there but we didn't have to wait to be seated. The store was a little outdated but still felt home vibe. The food was quite big serving. I had meatloaf that came with sauteéd veges and mashed potato with gravy. The sauteéd veges was perfectly cooked and the mashed potato with gravy was one of the best I had. Our attendant Michelle was very patient and offered another options since my mom's order was unavailable. Hopefully they updated...
We've cut our dining at wheatfields due to increased pricing and everything going a la carte basically. Paying four to six dollars for fries or something on top of a $14 sandwich is not something that I can really justify - often or at all. I totally understand that inflation and other things have prompted price increases. We dine out a lot and have a lot of perspective. It just seems that the value and quality for what we're asked to pay isn't there anymore. Sadly....
It was an excellent place for breakfast and coffee. I never try to come here for lunch, but I love it here for breakfast. They have so many things on the menu, especially desserts. ?
