So disappointing now! This place used to have great food and service. Now you get your own drink and silverware, order up front and the food is brought in from their other location. Minimal service after you get your food if you dine in. This was on a Saturday morning.
My uber eats driver brought the wrong order and when I called juanah the manager she was very friendly and they replaced my whole order even when they already closed. The food is amazing and the staff is really friendly and professional. Highly recommend! Thank you so much for such a great experience. I will be back!
Wheatfields used to be one of my fav breakfast spots in downtown, but I feel like service has slipped. First, you have to queue up to order food and get a table number, diy drinks and then find a free table. At least, there are some outdoor tables. Then, the poor servers have to run around trying to find the right table number to deliver your food. It's a poorly designed system. The food is good, but really not worth the hassle. I'd honestly rate it a 3.5.
We all wanted to love this bakery, but it was just okay. They were out of quite a few things, including the Nutella crepes. We ordered waffles instead, they were crisp and had a nice buttery flavor. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict. Unfortunately, the eggs were overcooked, not ooey gooey at all. The cherry strudel was good. The pumpkin bread was dry and lacked flavor. The quiche lorraine was thick and hearty, pretty tasty, but not memorable. A billboard out front teased the creamiest hot cocoa in Omaha, definitely not the case. It was pretty much super hot cocoa flavored water, we dumped it out.
Terrible.. has a fast food style of eating. They take your order, get your own drink, they bring the food to you. They also ask for the gratuity upfront but took 5 minutes to take our order, nope.I got a Powerade and vitamin water from the fridge and it was covered in sticky dust (not exactly sure what it was covered in). I ordered a sausage, egg, cheese and potato wrap. The potatoes were mashed but very low quality. I assume it was mashed potatoes from a bad. I took two bites and there was plastic inside the wrap, instantly felt sick. We told an employee and told us to go to the front desk and tell them. We ended up leaving and going to Scooters. I don’t recommend this place at all. Terrible experience.
I ordered the Avacodo Toast. The toast is topped with spicy guacamole, sliced avacados and scrambled eggs with salsa on the side. I ordered minus the guacamole and salsa, but it came with both. I just wasn't wanting the spicy, however, it wasn't very spicy and tasted wonderful! The salsa was a nice touch with the eggs. The avacados tasted perfect! Ordered a Mimosa to drink.
UHG! Counter service like any standard fast food joint. You place your order, fill your own drink, receive partial order completely cold but they want gratuity up front. Nope.
Extremely overpriced, mediocre food. I ordered a Belgian waffle and a coffee and it cost $15. No sides, nothing fancy, just a plain waffle for $12. You want a couple slices of bacon? Add $4. Everything is a la carte and expensive for what you get. Oh, and because of these covidy times, you have to stand in line to order and grab all your own silverware. Serving tables is too dangerous!
Wonderful food. Huge portions. Awesome baked goods.☺☺
It was pretty solid food but the decor is about 2 decades old. The vent cover on the ceiling is filthy. I imagine all that dust lands in people’s food. ?Hire someone to clean up there or get a ladder.

Wish I could give zero stars. Cashier was clueless when I asked menu questions. Only service is food coming out by a rude server. Asked for silverware and she actually said "What? I literally wasn't listening to you. Oh. You can get it yourself it's by the door, but I guess I can" brought it to us without saying a word. There were broken shards of glass on my table and on my seat which poked my leg through my pants. I was so unimpressed I thought I was being pranked.
It's really expensive for a below average meal. A waffle, 3 pieces of bacon, & oj = $20.81. You could buy the ingredients for that, and have extra / more servings, for $20. I ordered bacon as a side, but from the way it was served, they are cutting back on doing dishes so they just threw it on top. I originally tried to order a hot chocolate & latte, but they were both "out."
Food great quick service good size portions for pricec
This place has gone downhill so bad. It's not full service anymore. You go in, order and pay, and seat yourself. You get your own drinks and silverware. It took them 40 minutes to bring a waffle and a piece of quiche. People sat after us got their food first. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one was because the food was good. I probably won't be back.
Horrendous!!! NEVER AGAINOrdered curbside pickup 2 hours in advance, waited at curbside for 40 minutes just to call inside for the 4th time and be told they ran out of the food we ordered and were making more. The response from the employee was, “Does she want it or not”. Absolutely atrocious! The employee brought my credit card out to my car, handed it to me, and walked back inside without saying a word. I took my card and left...with 2 toddlers in the car the whole time! Wheatfields should be embarrassed.
