Gluten free chicken and feta pizza. It was excellent.
The kids had a medium pizza was good and so was the Alfredo, I forgot to add chicken to the pasta though.

There’s no doubt about it, this is the place to eat. We ordered two medium pizzas to take out and they gave all five members of our family complimentary drinks to enjoy while we waited. That’s exceptional service! This is definitely a place to patronize and enjoy. Fantastic people, fantastic place.

WTF Wednesday
I walk in in was greeted by a girl by a young lady by the name Jakeira! she greeted me with the prettiest smile and by far the best customer service I have experienced in years(no lie) She even brought my food to my car after it was done! I wanted to give her KUDOS! since I can’t do anything else! she deserves much more than this review! as a matter of fact, the hiring manager deserve kudos as well for hiring her. She was just so darn sweet.?

My wife and I decided to try one of our ol' favorite pizza joints from back in the day Friday 8/23/24 at approx 7pm as we're Big O lifers and know where to go in town for the better sit down meals. This was one of them.....like 10-20 years ago!
My has this Zio's location gone down hill! Sign said seat yourself but every open table had yet to be cleared off and cleaned,. We sat at a round table and eventually got water and menus but was told the wait could be awhile. The waitress was obviously exasperated which created a tense unwelcoming atmosphere.
I remember coming hear when they had the location on the other side of the Holiday bar and were greeted with a smile. Always busy then with little seating but we would stand and wait because the pizza was that good. Not surprising that now 15-20 years later Zio's is going down hill and will probably be gone in the next five years if this is what they have become.
So we left and went to another pizza place that is what they used to be.
Tasty Pizza.
Take note Zio's if you truly want to not become the next 'CLOSED' iconic Omaha restaurant like Piccolo's, Caniglia's, Angie's Bohemian Cafe. Those were great Omaha restaurants that served great food until they didn't.
The competition isn't the new quirky foodie operation, but your own ability to maintain a level of taste, quality, and service each of those businesses lost and didn't recapture.
I don't blame the 'staff' who were working Friday night, but management who puts their employees in such aggravating situations for them and your customers and really don't care as long as the next hungry sucker walks through that front door.

If you like pizza or chicken wings (and others), Zio’s on Beverly Hills Plaza is your place. Everything is freshly cooked and tasty. There is very little wait time. The whole team is well trained and polite. Small fact about this place, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts was there every other Saturday till 2023. And from January 2023 you can meet Senator Pete Rickett in this pizzeria.

This place always hits the spot on a trip in Omaha. The best pizza I’ve had. A bit dirty in the restaurant itself with the booths and tables, but overall, a great place to go!
