“Great food and portions! I had the chicken souvlaki, Greek potatoes and the salad with Greek dressing and all of it packed great flavor. We also got a Gyro with fries that were great, especially with their yummy tzatziki sauce. Got everything to-go and food also traveled well - particularly the fries which can be hit or miss for takeout at most places. We will be back again for more.“

I could have a chicken shawarma burger everyday for the rest of my life and be set, but it’s always better to come in person and say hello. Very friendly and definitely a staple of the neighborhood. “I've been a regular customer of Izmir Gyro House for almost six years. The owner, Emine, and her staff are always kind and gracious. Most important, though, is that the food is fresh and delicious! I could fill up on just the rice, it is so flavorful and good, but then I'd miss out on all the other delicious Mediterranean treats! Highly recommend this place to anyone craving something that isn't standard Midwestern fare.“

“Even though prices are rising in this current economic cycle, one gets their money’s worth at this dining establishment. I’ve ordered their steak dish as well as a Double Kong hamburger during my visits and the portions are big. The side salad and fries are OK (I’ve had better at other places) and the dining area is clean and comfortable. Good service too. Definitely recommend King Kong if you happen to be in the Omaha area.“
