I never really go to Old Chicago, and it wasn't a great experience. We got there when it was slow, before the dinner rush. We kept reminding the waiter to bring us things we ordered. They would go check on a few other tables then disappear into the kitchen for 15 minutes before coming back to the table. However, the food was great and was very quickly out to the table.
The setup and seating is welcoming and cozy. Went there one time and waited to be seated when there wasn't anybody else in line and not busy. The restrooms are hard to find, they are way in back to the left with no sign. The waitress was super nice to us and the food was delicious. I'll have to revisit to watch sports.

Sitting on the bar side seems to be okay here, but multiple times that I have sat in the normal dining area have been a disaster. One time it took almost an hour just for my girlfriend to get her first beer. The dining area wasnt even fully occupied but they still were not seating everyone. The food is okay but not something that is worth the wait.
