“The collection of mounts is impressive and beautiful.
The atmosphere is great. We were seated immediately and very friendly greeting and staff.
Our server forgot our party's coffee and never did bring a water that was ordered so we shared one of ours. It was so long the ice cubes had melted on one of the waters.
I ordered a Western burger and asked for an onion ring to be added. I was told it would be. I was not given the choice for a side and I was not asked how I wanted my burger which was odd.
When our food came out I was told the onion ring was not able to be added so at that time we ordered a side of onion rings. It was added separately to our bill.
The food itself was great.
We ordered a buffalo burger and a hot beef sandwich. I was told it was a particularly good sandwich and that the buffalo burger with a side of cottage cheese was very good.
It looked like like a busy dinner time.
Overall our experience was good but those things detracted from the experience.“

“Ole's is a wonderful place for so many reasons. It is a true gem and a place I gooe always remains just as it is, just where it is. I appreciate so much that Tim has maintained the place Ole built and nurtured for so many years. Of course it has been modernized, as sadly has everything in this world today. If you look carefully with your eyes closed however, you can still see the good old boys toasting the end of Prohibition at the magnificent bar. If you listen carefully, the stories they told that night still echo through the walls. There are those that will get offended about the mounts. There are lots of other places they can dine. The mounts, the photos, the old bar signs. I love them all so much! Then there is the food. Fresh, hot and delicious. Prices are very fair, and the people are all just as friendly and genuine as you would expect to find in a small Nebraska town. Needless to say, this is not my first visit, not will it be my last. I live 250 miles from here but have eaten at Ole's dozens of times! Of you haven't been here, it os well worth a detour! And no, this review was not solicited, nor do I know any of the staff or the owners. The only thing we have in common is the love of the Midwestern lifestyle, history, wildlife, good food, and the Cornhuskers, of course!“
