Our meals were excellent, the staff was friendly and courteous. It was quiet and easy to talk while we waited for our food and ice cream. Unique historical interior was fun to look at.

If cozy, charming, and just a little bit magical had a meeting spot, it would be The River House Soda Fountain & Cafe.

This place is packed with history—like, everywhere you look there’s something telling a story. It’s the kind of café where you slow down without even realizing it.

Now let’s get to the important stuff: they serve Black Cows (yes… root beer + chocolate syrup = happiness in a glass 🥤🍫) AND Italian Cream...

Top notch. No place else resembles this establishment. Food is great, service is excellent, warm environment, prices reasonable. I have eaten here many years and so has the community with great support.
