“The atmosphere in this tavern is just wonderful. It's dark initially upon entering, but after your eyes adjust, you'll see the indirect lighting creates an atmosphere of comfort and warmth. They have invested in quality lounge chairs - which only contribute favorably to the overall comfort of the place.

“Stopped in on two separate nights after dinner for evening cocktails while in Omaha for the weekend, and we were both really impressed.

The vibe is excellent—busy but not packed, with a fun retro interior that feels lively without being overwhelming. Between the two of us we tried four different cocktails, and every single one was excellent. The ones that stuck with us were the Venom, Scarborough Fair, and Get Off Maillard—all fantastic, well-balanced, and fairly priced for high-quality cocktails in a prime location.

Service matched the drinks. Next time we’re in Omaha, this is going to be our go-to for after-dinner drinks.“

“Spacious cigar lounge in the Old Market, there are plenty of sitting options outside or inside. Good fairly priced selection of cigars. The bar is fully stocked, everyone I interacted with was happy to help and very professional. Good place to hang out with friends your partner or to start a conversation with anyone. Highly recommend this place.“

“Under appreciated bar. My wife and I moved into a nearby neighborhood and drove by this place for months. In all honesty, it looked kinda scary and put off a bad vibe. However, it is a super nice and clean bar! They have several billiards tables along w/ a handful of dart boards. More importantly there is enough room to play darts and pool without feeling crowded.They also have a nice beer garden and a large projection tv for sports. Please look past the sketchy outside and stop in this local bar for a pleasant surprise!“

“Came here with a friend one evening and honestly had a pretty good time. The wine selection was nice, with enough options that we didn’t feel stuck choosing from the same basic stuff. The server gave us a couple recommendations and they were actually helpful. We also ordered a few small bites, which went well with the wine. It wasn’t too loud, so we could actually talk without yelling across the table lol. Service was a little slow at one point, but nothing crazy. “We absolutely love coming here! Deb and Dave are wonderful people who genuinely enjoy playing pool, and their son and his friends are regulars who come to have a good time. Apparently, being a regular customer and enjoying the same hobby as your family is now considered “cheating.” 🫣

Deanna has always been friendly, professional, and fair. She handles regulars, customers, and Karens with impressive patience. It’s interesting how someone can watch other people patiently wait their turn all night, say nothing, and then suddenly discover a massive conspiracy involving Deb, Dave, their son, his friends, Deanna, quarters, and pool tables. 😭

Putting quarters down for the next game is standard pool hall etiquette. If waiting your turn feels like being “isolated,” there are always other bars with pool tables. 💗

We’ll definitely keep coming back. Maybe spend less time counting other people’s quarters and more time enjoying the night. 😊“

“I could not be happier to have this as my local bar in the neighborhood. The staff is absolutely amazing. The cocktails are some of the best in town, and when I tell you how awesome the atmosphere is during holidays and certain months out of the year, they completely create an experience that is just top-notch. However, because of all this, it can be extremely busy, which can cause a little higher-than-normal wait times. Some of the reviews I've been reading are just downright not okay. I've seen the wait staff treated very poorly on crazy busy nights, and expectations are a little ridiculous. Just keep this in mind: if you're looking for immediate service when the place is packed, you're probably going to be disappointed. However, if you're kind and if you want an amazing experience with awesome bartenders, this is definitely a spot I highly recommend.“

“Most welcoming bar in town. Staffed by the absolute BEST people. The patio out back is cozy and partially covered, great for a drink on a rainy day. This is a Queer and POC friendly space, and they don’t take kindly to people who have a problem with that. Seriously the BEST bar in Benson if not all of Omaha.“
