“Chose County Cage for lunch with my mom after deciding a beer sounded good with our food. She and I both had the Batting 1000 burger with fries. The fries came out hot and very well seasoned and I am not sure I breathed while eating them. The burger was on buttered, grilled Texas toast, with 1000 island dressing and sauteed onions. You know that sandwich where you sigh when you take your first bite? This is the one! First off, this is a hefty burger. The menu says 1/2 pound and I believe it. It was a little hard to finish that much burger, but we hadn't eaten breakfast (and it was SO good). No need for condiments on this one. Between the melted delicious cheese, the buttered Texas toast and the 1000 island, you do not need anything else. Paired perfectly with an on-tap Jalapeno Cream Ale from Pals Brewing Company. While we only had one menu item between us, you can just tell that everything they make is going to be just as delicious. Can't wait until our next visit. Might have to try their Friday night prime rib next.“
