Oya Grill Mexican Restaurant

Stopped here on the recommendation of a friend and wish we never would have. Guacamole is pricey and not very good. Originally was given the wrong bill $130 for two people, guess you could say an honest mistake they had given us the bill for the other table of 5 that was there . Had extra charges on bill turns out switch from red sauce to cheese sauce is a $5 upcharge, also they brought chips and salsa to the table we never ordered it most places do this complimentary but this comes with a hidden price. Nothing was mentioned to us about a 2 pm or so closing time in Sunday but lights started getting turned off. My buddy said the bathroom was a mess I asked before or after he went in and he said before he went in there lol. But seriously they don't have to worry about us ever coming back there with subpar food and hidden fees, I'm good I'll support those trying to make an honest living. Normally I tip very well unfortunately their staff can collect their tip from the business with those hidden charges.

We came in on a Sunday night and they were so friendly and welcoming! Service was prompt! The salsa had great flavor and the chips were super fresh. We got queso and it was really yummy! I got a chimichanga and it was great! Lots of flavor tender meat and a good amount of filling! Loved the onions and peppers too. Guacamole was yummy and everything was super fresh. Good pricing too! We will be returning

Absolutely great experience. The server Ricky just superb a great person and a great waiter. The food was excellent across the board everything was just so good. We got some tacos and a burrito and a margarita everything was lovely. I will definitely be coming back. This will be my go-to spot when I'm in Sydney. It is rare to have such an experience. A lot of services declined in years. Not here.
As always remember to use cash. If we don't use cash we will lose it.

Good food, excellent and very quick service. Tomatillo salsa is very good and worth paying for, and the vampirito cocktail was good as well. Range of options that are vegan/vegetarian/shrimp-OK/fish-OK, and also plenty of standard fare. Bring cash.

Great food and great prices. The enchiladas rancheras is my absolute favorite but everything is so good, you can't go wrong. And the queso bean dip is a must have!

Food was great. Only complaint is you have to pay for your second round of chips and salsa due to rising corn prices IDK. I do recommend OYO and will eat there again next time I'm in town.
