A little off the beaten path in SSC, but an all around diamond in the rough.! Definitely worth a visit.

I grew up in SSC and this is a hidden gem, if you've never been it's definitely a must try. Not only are the owners incredibly friendly, the whole set up is just simply breathtaking. There's seating inside and outside, outside features a small patio area with a waterfall pond with fish! They also have an Airbnb visible from the outside seating area that is just adorable - a treehouse and hobbit house. The cinnamon rolls were delicious and I think everyone finished their drink of choice. We will definitely be back anytime we're visiting the area.

We were out at a necessary trip to Walmart (because who actually goes there by CHOICE... ‍) and I Yelped "coffee" because we were both craving. We were also hungry, so when I stumbled on the reviews for this place and saw it was right around the corner, we figured why not stop there... quick?Yeah, it wasn't quick. NOT because we weren't served quickly... we were served in EPIC time and ended up with an amazing breakfast! (Including gluten-free oatmeal topped with mounds of fresh blueberries and brown sugar!)It wasn't quick because there was so much to see! The shop itself was ADORABLE. And they have two themed Air B&Bs that were super inspirational to an entrepreneur (and one that appreciates fine literature... and is also a nerd). A Hobbit Hole and a Treehouse... I mean, if we didn't have our house with us I'd totally have booked one (or both!) of those in a heartbeat! And the owner? OMG she's a HOOT! She's hilarious, engaging, fun, and knows her stuff. I got my typical chai latte and asked her to make it "filthy" which we had a LOT of fun discussing the exact definition of... And hubs couldn't really decide (they'll make whatever you want, no real set latte or frappe menu), so she informed him they could also make what they call a "surprise."He said he likes surprises (news to me...) so that's what he got. It was some sort of chocolate butterscotch concoction smothered in whipped cream. Dessert for breakfast... which was perfect!Staff: 6 out of 5 starsLocation/Atmosphere: 7 out of 5 starsDrinks/Food: 5 out of 5 starsWould eat here again... if we were in the area! (Our only regret... they closed for a few days for travel so we could only visit once!)

The most wholesome Saturday stop. Thank you to Maureen & Ashley for the amazing hospitality and conversations. So hard to decide what to order because everything sounded so amazing! After much thought, I went with the breakfast sandwich with turkey and grabbed Mediterranean quiche for later. Could not be happier!I absolutely will be back to stay at the treehouse.

Well they obviously don't like the taste of coffee because they put an obscene amount of milk and caramel in it. As if the diabetes coffee wasnt bad enough, they put jam on a ham sandwich.

Read only one review saying the coffee was delicious and took a chance on the overall top rating. A brilliant decision! An absolutely beautiful little place with so many lovely extra touches and to-die-for pastries to go with that delicious coffee. I'm so envious of the locals who can make this a regular stop, but we'll be back the next time we head west! Thank you for a wonderful experience! So sorry five stars was the best available rating. It underserves you! (Don't fret that this seems like an out-of-the-way place. Yes, it's on a "country" road, but it's only a few seconds from the main road and not much farther than that from I-29!)
