“Amazing Gyro!! Ordering extra sauce on the side made for the most delicious gyro we have ever had!!! Service was great, fries out of this world and crispy- not limp!If you have any room left after eating your large entree you MUST try the baklava cheesecake—- simply heaven. I am sure there were an obscene amount of calories but every bite was worthy!!!!One of our favorite places.”

“This is a very small café with incredible food and service. Items our party had were: the hot beef, which was hot sliced roast beef between two slices of bread with mashed potatoes and gravy on top. Veggies would be a nice addition to this plate, but it doesn't come with that. It was delicious. #6 with a side of toast - two slices of French toast with a regular side of toast on the side which was an additional item. The bread here is homemade. And really yummy. Ham and cheese omelette was delicious as well. It is not a large place. It is small. Our server was excellent, and very patient with us. From a restaurant service perspective, the employees of this place could easily train many others around the state of Nebraska. We experienced the kind of customer service that was a regular thing in our society many many years ago. This is a cash only establishment. If you forget to go to the ATM before you come, there is an ATM in the café.”

“Pizza was amazing! The sauce was all the way to the edge. (Which I prefer) The crust had to be homemade one of the pizzas had a puffy but crunchy texture like it was from a stone or brick oven. Just wow thankfully these reviews helped find a good pizza joint.Greeting on the phone wasn’t happy or sad just neutral. The lady seemed a little dry when it came to customer service. Pizza made up for it though. Highly recommend this pizza ?. Thank you for this great tasty pizza.”

“I've only gotten burritos and tacos so far from here and I've tried many places in town and so far El Joven is the top spot! Best meat ( no gristle or fat) and hot sauces are spot on. Little more expensive than others but quality costs more!”

“This side of the river is way better then the other Juanitas on 14th and Pierce. Food is better, service is way better, and never once has anything been wrong like at the spot in Sioux City does every time. My go to is Chili Verde or Chili Rojo. Plus the bonus is the drive thru in case you don't want to go inside, but the inside is always clean.”
