Valentine’s Day meal for two means you share your steak, you get a dry potato and over cooked lobster. You get one butter in a shot glass to share for the lobster. Appetizer of 5 over cooked shrimp. On the up side the ice tea was good. Not recommended for the money. Go to Texas Roadhouse.
Service was horrible 15 minutes to get a glass of water. Another 15 minutes to get a drink. Quality has gone done hill along with service. Should be priced more like Texas Roadhouse. For a high end chophouse in Sioux City should be better. This is the worst I have ever seen. Never got to the main course.
Elegant atmosphere with river views. Great happy hour and friendly service! A must stop every time we are in the area!

Based on the reviews, Kahill’s Chophouse is a beautiful restaurant that overlooks the river and Sioux City, IA. It is part of a Marriott and has a beautiful atmosphere with an amazing view. The food is great, with the Avocado Cobb salad being very fresh, the French onion soup one of the best, and the beef dip sandwich very tasty. The salmon Mac and cheese was creamy with the pasta cooked great, and the ruben was very good. The shrimp cocktail was delicious with colossal shrimp, and the Ahi tuna was very good. The charcuterie board is to die for, and the cheesecake is super delicious. However, one steak ordered medium rare came medium+, which was disappointing. The Halibut had a slight fish smell, and the pesto butter was very cold and salty. The jalapeño cream corn was also salty. The cake was a bit on the dry side. The price is reasonable for such service, though it is on the higher end. Service is amazing, with staff like James and Myron being wonderful. The restaurant is a great place for a special event celebration, like an anniversary or birthday, and can accommodate small or large groups. The portions are generous.
