I was in town, hungry for good Mexican, and found this gem. Maybe the best Mexican food I’ve had in a very looong time. Not going to belabor everyone with lots of big fancy words. It was outstanding. Exceeded expectations. Very fresh and very savory. Highly highly recommend if in Sioux City area or within an hours drive!! Had the Birria Queso and three steak tacos. Easy to make ordinary. Hard to make extraordinary. And they did. And their queso was fantastic.
I didn't really like what I ordered, but it was a specially done super basic taco. I should have stuck with something on the menu but I wanted a really basic taco. They were nice enough to make it special for me. I want to go back and try something else and see it I like it more. I wish they had better hot sauce though, the stuff on the tables was bad.

Overall good food, atmosphere and service. We have eaten here, several times and will continue to do so. Most experiences are lunch. Update for 2022 and new location.Nice new location, food is still great, homemade chips, salsa is great. Still recommend!! No bad experiences in 2023; ate there probably 12-15 times.
