“This is a buffet style restaurant. They have different meat options with lots of sauce on them and they have fried chimichangas which are delicious. The chicken mole had a GREAT flavor HOWEVER it's full of bones! Not a safe thing to put in your mouth. I took a bite into a piece of chicken and there were about 10 tiny bones which tells me it was very likely a chicken neck.“

“Walking in it looks like a normal Mexican bread market. They have a few tables and local help.
The food is amazing though. It doesn't look like it would be but seriously. Try it! On Saturdays and Sunday mornings they have home made tortillas! In the mornings.“
“The service was great, our waitress was polite and attentive. The food was good but the camarones empanizados were a bit greasy as well as the fries. The ceviche tostada was very tasty as well as the carne asada. They gave me churros and ice cream since it was my birthday!“

“I had such a fantastic time here recently and everything about the experience was top notch. The food was bursting with flavor and clearly made with fresh ingredients, and the staff made me feel right at home from the moment I walked through the door. It is honestly such a fun and welcoming atmosphere that I ended up staying much longer than I originally planned. I cannot wait to go back and try more things on their menu.“

“I don't leave reviews... but here we are. I'm From San Francisco, grew up in the mission and love food. I'd stack up these tacos to anything I've had back home, San Diego or Mexico. Great meats, their pastor is my favorite. Whenever I visit my in laws this is my new spot. I've been coming to Sioux City for 15 years now and this is by dar the best Mexican I've had here.“

“I have had their pizzas they are very very good. I decided today for lunch I'd try the al pastor tacos. That was some of the best al pastor I've ever had. People need to try other food options“

“We go to La Isla every year for our Anniversary and a few other times as well. They are always wonderful - service is great. The food is crazy good, and the portion sizes are large. My husband and I will share, and we still take food home. Love the pineapple pasta. We try different things each time and have always been happy with experimenting“
