Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in town. The shrimp burrito is amazing, as is everything else on the menu.

I don't leave reviews... but here we are. I'm From San Francisco, grew up in the mission and love food. I'd stack up these tacos to anything I've had back home, San Diego or Mexico. Great meats, their pastor is my favorite. Whenever I visit my in laws this is my new spot. I've been coming to Sioux City for 15 years now and this is by dar the best Mexican I've had here.

La Salsita serves delicious and authentic Mexican food. Their phenomenal sauce and flavorful rice complement their amazing steak and tacos. The drive-thru service is friendly and efficient, and the staff was friendly both times. The inside of the restaurant is not very big, but it is clean and well maintained. They served chips and salsa while customers decided what to order, and their chips were really good, real corn tortilla chips that had lots of flavor and the salsa was really flavorful too. The main food shines here. Customers got the tacos el trompo, shaved meat with onions and Serrano peppers, and the most delicious salsa. A chimichanga was huge and so good. A carne asada burrito was so big it provided lunch for the next day. Fajitas were cooked perfectly with a mixture of steak, chicken and shrimp, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The trompos tacos are delicious. The chicken quesadilla has a perfect ratio of cheese and chicken. Their rice and beans and chips and queso are also really good. The bill was less than $45 for three people. Despite occasional inconsistencies, the generous portions and great prices make up for it. With options for dine-in, take-out, or drive-thru, La Salsita is a highly recommended spot for a satisfying meal at a great value.
