“A family member recommended this place who lives here in the Dunes. (We're not from here) It's a small, cute coffee shop with plenty of seating and a drive thru. I got a hot Twix and the wife got an iced Snickers and they were both good! We also had egg bites and a raspberry white chocolate scones that reminded me of the Schwans scones! Food and drinks came out pretty fast! Staff was friendly and it wasnt too packed for 9am inside. Drive thru had 4-5 cars. Would definitely recommend this hidden coffee spot!”

“I had my Wedding rehearsal Dinner at Bob and Ellen’s and it was the best experience ever!! We were staying across the street in the hotel and just walked across. The owner, manager, and staff were absolutely amazing and made the night fantastic! The food was amazing!! This restaurant will forever hold a special place in my heart for an amazing night! 💕”

“I recently stopped by J’s Nutrition in North Sioux City and was thoroughly impressed. I tried the 24 oz Banana Nut Bread protein shake with a caramel drizzle, recommended by Molly, and it was absolutely delicious. With 24 grams of protein, it’s a satisfying and nutritious option. 

The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. J’s Nutrition offers a variety of health-focused beverages, including loaded teabombs, protein shakes, and protein iced coffee, making it a great addition to the Riverside and North Sioux communities. It’s wonderful to support a local business that genuinely cares and knows about the community.

“I had such a quick and easy visit to Subway in Hawthorne recently. The shop was super clean and the staff were really helpful with making my sandwich exactly how I wanted it. It is always nice to find a spot that is reliable and friendly when you are just looking for a simple lunch, and this place definitely hit the mark. “I got to experience Koffie Knechtion the other day and loved the atmosphere! My friends and I had a great time catching up over delicious coffee and foods that will make your pallette want more. I even decided to bring my mother out the next morning so she could enjoy the same experience I had. We got to sit and chat with the owners who were very personable and friendly! How cool to have them explain the making and building behind the scenes. You can tell they care about the work they do! What an accomplishment! The Greek quiche, avocado toast, and pastries were delicious! Highly recommend and glad I was able to make some memories with my friends and mom.”

“We passed through Iowa earlier this month. It was the perfect night out. Husband had his usual IPA which was very fruity. I tried a hard cider with Pineapple....I could have drank about five of these crisp, fruity and very refreshing. We shared a crab appetizer and fought over who got the last bite. We also shared pepperoni pizza which had a kick to it and went well with our drinks. We took our cheesecake to go and we again fought over the last bite. I would highly recommend Marto Brewing Co if you are ever in the area.”

This gem is one of Sioux City's best as far as restaurants and bars go in the area with an evolving, seasonal menu that will make you want to try something new every time you visit! Don't sleep on the classics like the truffle fries and brussel sprouts though, there's a reason those always stay. Also try out their weekend specials! After your visit, you'll know why this place consistently has a "Siouxland's Best Bar Tender" nominee. They are experts in their craft with an incredible selection of cocktails and craft beers. Sioux City is lucky to have such a trendy, vibrant spot for the foodies out here.”

“I placed a large order for work on Monday and picked it up today. The sandwiches were done on time and a nice gentleman carried the box out to my car. It was my 1st time trying their food and my tuna sandwich was delicious! Next time, please add a napkin to my lunch sack. I can be messy!”
