Idk what's happening to this place. I used to LOVE coming here but the food is so hit or miss now. Also what is the location fee?

My husband's chicken mashed potatoes and gravy was delicious although not especially well presented. I had the Margarity Shrimp Salad and was really disappointed. I had to pick the shells off the Shrimp. Half the pineapple was core and the salad itself was iceberg lettuce with a few tiny bits of tomato and 5 shreds of cheese. The honey mustard dressing was tasty though.

We had a huge group of 40 people, on a busy Friday night. (We booked reservations day of) I was really impressed that the food was hot and delicious, and the service was excellent. Affordable prices for a steak house as well!

Our server at the bar, Kim, did an amazing job. She served up my specific type of Cosmo which was quite good. She was very friendly and efficient, which made the evening worthwhile to sit at the bar and eat. I had the Palomo Chicken, pulled chicken with roasted corn and black beans which was amazing and very tender. If I had a suggestion it would be to serve with a side of some type of spicy sauce. My husband had the Jim Harrison, which he described as "wonderful". The overall atmosphere of the place is quite average at best. But if you are looking for good food and nice service, this is a place to go in Valentine.

Best Ribeye I’ve ever had!

Stopped in Valentine on our way home to Scottsbluff from SD. We had the rib tips, pork belly burger, and the fried chicken with mash. You know you picked a good meal when the waitress says it’s her favorite! And the chicken was delicious! Parents also enjoyed their meals. There is good reason for their high rating! As a restaurant owner myself, I loved their snarky shirts and being perfect for everyone is nearly impossible. We really only aim to please 75% of customers! ;) lol

We stopped on our way through town for lunch. The service was excellent and friendly. The food was great. We'll be back for sure. Hopefully next time I can come and check out the bar!

We have been to the Peppeemill serval times on our annual trip and have had a great experience many times. This trip, the food for 3 out of 4, was not what we would expect from the Peppermill. It was not bad food, but the high high quality we've experienced in the past wasn't there. We will be back next year to give it another try, and I'll update at that time.
