Walked in this place wondering what we were getting ourselves into. Snowy, cold night, but for the weather, it was a happening place! Had thee best service ever, as we have had every time we have stopped here. But, when we asked the owner if we could plug our diesel truck in and we needed an extension cord, he looked at us like we were nuts... not to mention looked a little pissed when he realized that we were towing a huge gooseneck trailer taking up half of the small parking lot. Then we got inside the lounge area to enjoy some drinks and dinner. Our waitress was the bomb!! She remembered that I am a two-fisted drinker and enjoy a cocktail on the side with a beer. Love this! Our meal was over the top delish! My only complaint is that I had a couple too many croutons on my salad!! Additionally, there was a loud table in the corner with their kids sitting at a separate table. I swear, they acted like they owned the place!!! Kids acted better than the adults! All and all, I would give this place a 10 on service and delicious food. However, if you're looking for a place to park your giant camper and plug it in, maybe park that and take an Uber! Highly recommend!!!!!!
I was in Valentine for work and was recommended Peppermill by many locals. The prices, the staff and food are all top notch. I had the "Heart City Strip" with loaded mashed potatoes for dinner. The food and service was so amazing I went back the next day for lunch, I got the "This is Cheeseburger". If you are in the Valentine area....Peppermill is the move!

Well maintained small town gem with big city eats and treats. Them Rexall Rangers are gonna havta mingle with the real cowboys in this Sand Hill delightful eatery. After you're done being a family man .... step on over to the other side for a honky tonk bar good time.

What a lovely gem! It was a great place to eat after a days long drive. They were very accommodating and took great care of our needs. All of our group liked our food very much.
