The restaurant’s name kinda says it all, it’s simple and delicious. My spouse got chicken fried chicken, with mashed potatoes, and veggies, and I got chicken Parmesan with noodles, and veggies. Both were excellent. It’s a bit of a drive from Omaha but well worth it. Definitely recommend.
Vegetarian options: They didn’t appear to have a lot of menu items for vegetarians. The menu ejection was also small.
Dietary restrictions: Not much for gf or vegetarian. They are small enough, I would recommend calling them to see what options they have.
Parking: Lots of parking, may get more challenging if the street parking is filled.
Kid-friendliness: It’s a bit more upscale, not kid friendly per se, but not unfriendly. Just make decisions based on your preferences.
Wheelchair accessibility: No wheel chair ramp that I could see. Getting in would be tight but I do think sitting and getting around would be manageable. The bathroom is a bit tight to get to.

My wife and I recently moved to Valley and were looking for a good restaurant in the area. We stopped into Simply Delicious for lunch today and wow are we glad that we found this place! From the friendly staff, to the professional chefs, the food and overall experience was top notch. Pam’s attention to detail and warm hearted table-side manor, made this experience feel like we were in our own home with our family. And if that wasn’t enough to impress us first timers, the new owner and head chef came out and greeted us at the table and asked how our meal was. We left there overwhelmed with happiness and also quit full! We will definitely be back!

Simply Delicious is an absolute gem! During my road trip, we randomly stopped there for brunch, and it turned out to be a great experience. The food was great. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The cozy ambiance added to the charm. I can't recommend this place enough! It's a solid five-star spot, and I'll definitely be returning for more deliciousness! ?????

Reservation for 4, at 5:00. Google maps showed open since 7:30am, but we showed up at 4:50 and the "open" light was off. Even their web site shows that the "new hours" are Wed-Sat from 7:30am-9:00pm. The door said that they didn't open until 5:00 though. We walked around a little outside, and got back at 5:10.There was a table of 8, and another of 2 already seated. We sat right down, but waited 15 minutes before any orders were taken, 2 drinks, and 2 pomegranate martinis. We waited another 15 minutes before we got our beers, and another 10 minutes before the 2 martinis arrived. The bruschetta that we ordered with the beers finally showed up, 45 minutes after we sat down. We ordered with the beers, 30 minutes prior. There were 5 small pieces of bread, with a very thick piece of cheese on each one. I'm not sure why it took so long to come out.Ordering the dinners was confusing. All of the dinners on the menu list the side that they come with, but when we ordered each dinner, our waitress asked us what 2 sides we wanted with it? Overheard the other waitress mention recent changes on menu. our waitress had to actually look at a menu every time we ordered something, so she could see what it was? It was another 35 minutes before we got our dinners. We ordered the chicken piccata, raspberry chicken, meatloaf, and pasta Marsala & beef tips. One of the orders was wrong. They brought another piccata instead of the meatloaf. The chicken piccata was very good. The Pasta Marsala & Beef Tips had tasty pieces of beef, but not very many, and the pasta was almost dry. Very little sauce. The meatloaf was ordered with mashed potatoes & gravy, but came out with the gravy on the meatloaf, and nothing on the potatoes. It did not appear to be finished on the grill, as noted in the menu, but likely because they rushed it since they brought us piccata by mistake. The Raspberry Chicken was not cooked very well. A third of it was overcooked. It did not appear to be fresh chicken either, but rather from frozen.Once, our waitress took our empty water glasses, and told us she'd bring us some more fresh water. Then she disappeared, and never brought us any water! Had to ask another waitress for some water. Actually, we never saw our original waitress again that night. Another woman finally brought our checks. Due to some technology issue, they couldn't swipe our credit cards like normal and bring us a receipt. They told us of the issue, said we would have to add the tip first if we wanted. All on all, we were there for just short of 2 hours! Entirely too long. None of the staff even addressed the extensive wait for pretty much everything that we ordered. And 2/3 of the way through, the other 2 tables left and we were the only patrons there. Not "small town" prices, and definitely not worth the experience that we all had, in my opinion. I know there are a lot of great reviews on here, but I believe that this business changed ownership in the last few months, so things may have changed...

Lovely 80th Birthday lunch for my mom. Under new ownership, the hostess was sweet and explained the menu. She didn't rush us, took our picture and made my mom (and all of us) feel like the most special of guests. She her brought a gorgeous and delicious chocolate lava cake with a candle. The food was fresh and exquisitely presented. We had a wrap/quiche with fresh fruit and a Bang Bang shrimp salad. We will be back and I suggest you do too!
Wheelchair accessibility: Door and dining room seem accessible. The bathroom is large and for one person but there is a tricky corner. The new owners are renovating so maybe the area will be opened up.
Dietary restrictions: Accommodated ice cream on the side for us to share as my mom cannot tolerate dairy well.

By chance, had dinner here tonight...what a wonderful discovery! Everything, from drinks, to appetizers to main course, was perfect! Service and atmosphere were on part. Loved that we weren't rushed and had ample time for conversation. Will definitely be back soon!

The name says it all,"Simply Delicious." ?I was invited to go to Simply Delicious for my birthday lunch with my mother-in-law and my daughter joined us. Worth the lovely drive through the country roads to Valley, NE to enjoy some really tasty food. Our server, Pam made it even more special and said we made it for "happy hour." I always chose the award winning Tomato Basil Soup (btw- It's ok to lick the bowl). I even ordered extra to take home, share, and savor the soup until my next visit.I'm so grateful that the restaurant was purchased so that we can continue to enjoy the family recipes of Wendy Dean, the previous owner. The new owners are wonderful and are making some changes. Now offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Longer hours and a family friendly menu. There are more changes to come, I can't wait!Lexi, the new owner even brought out a brownie dessert with ice cream and threespoons for us to share.A candle on top! What a nice surprise and tasty dessert.A wonderful place to eat at and I always feel welcomed. The staff even calls us by name. You definitely need to visit and don't forget to take a bowl of soup home.- BON APPÉTIT

The food is over priced, super small portions. They got half the orders wrong. Honestly the worst restaurant experience I've ever

New ownership, wanted to support local. Made reservations for brunch. My husband ordered a waffle with strawberries, no whipped cream, eggs over easy, sausage and a side of hash browns. I ordered pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream, eggs over medium and bacon. When the order came the waffle had no strawberries, the pancakes were burnt and had no whipped cream and the hash browns were brown mush and tasted "granular" like cream of wheat. When asked, they put strawberries on the waffle, whipped cream on the pancakes and offered to bring some "home style" potatoes in place of the "hash browns" which my husband declined. I did not mention the burnt pancakes- was hoping the whipped cream would help. The waitress said they "had an issue with hash browns" and she debated not serving them at all. They did take them off the bill. They also acknowledged that the front end was not communicating well with the back end. Overall a disappointing experience. Have eaten there under previous owner and food was excellent.
Girls day out for a special tea party! Food was special and perfectly presentedI need glutenfree food and they were most accommodating.
