“We stopped for lunch after a trip to Ashfall Fossil Beds. And if you're anywhere near a place called Winnetoon, why not? We were the only diners for a late lunch and were glad we got there in time (they close for the later part of the afternoon). My chicken strip basket was just fine and my husband enjoyed his hot beef sandwich. The waitress maybe could have been a bit more attentive, but she made a fresh cup of coffee for my husband, so all was well. A real piece of small town Americana.”
