Super good food, amazing french fries! Worth the 45 minute drive... for the food. Can't understand the fee we were charged for not paying in cash though. It's 2023. We spent over $40 and got upcharged for using a card. Isn't that just a cost of business at this point? I'm not spending a couple bucks at a gas station. The food is great. The practice of charging your customers for using the most common for of payment is kind of insulting.
My family and I were here for the first night of a three day excursion kn Wahoo for a funeral. The Wheel House staff and patrons were nothing but kind and super accommodating. We had a party of 15 of us, and I have dietary restrictions, but the waitress kept up with everyone, laughed and joked with us, and made sure she was keeping in compliance with my food sensitivity! Stopped in on wing Wednesday to grab a late bite to eat. The Lollipop drumsticks were amazing! Chicken strips and onion rings were hand breaded and very good! Will definitely be back!
