Jasmine was very helpful while I was ordering. The Cheeseburger Runza was delicious, the pumpkin spice shake hot the spot.
Definitely a place to stop in for this Nebraska born sandwich that's 75 years and still a hit with the locals.

The North Platte Runza is owned by a nice local family & always has quality food & service. They are quick in both drive thru & dine in. Much better burgers than typical fast food. I love the fries extra crispy! My daughter enjoyed working there & still loves eating there. After a shift she smelled like yummy Runza, not a grease pit. 2 locations in North Platte, both great. South location quick stop off Exit 177.
Parking: Parking is easy & plenty of handicapped. Some parking on West side is for Tesla EV chargers. It can be challenging w/traffic to turn left (west) onto the street to get back into town or I-80. It's best to use the exit further East by the drive thru.
Kid-friendliness: All kids are welcome. They have kids' meals & high chairs.
Wheelchair accessibility: One level, hard floors with a ramp from parking.

Food was awesome last time we were there service was not very good food was really greasy and looked like they just threw it in the bag.
My burger came with something hard.. according to them a piece of cheese? So old cheese that could almost break a tooth? Onion rings that have come just fine before but now they're practically raw. Runza says that's how they are supposed to be. Not worth it

Burnt fries: Fries have been burnt at the Waverly location. I love Runza fries so much & typically pick it over McDonald’s because of the fries being so good at Runza. Lately my experience with the fries they have been crispy, burnt, and stale. Wish Runza put more effort into providing fresher non burnt fries. Seriously these taste like potato chips. Not happy
