We stopped for lunch after a trip to Ashfall Fossil Beds. And if you're anywhere near a place called Winnetoon, why not? We were the only diners for a late lunch and were glad we got there in time (they close for the later part of the afternoon). My chicken strip basket was just fine and my husband enjoyed his hot beef sandwich. The waitress maybe could have been a bit more attentive, but she made a fresh cup of coffee for my husband, so all was well. A real piece of small...
My grandparents took me here when I was little at least once when i visited them. Very fond memories and a very nice little diner in the nicest part of the country you can visit. One of the few places Ive re visited after being around the world and back. RIP Grandpa and Grandma Falter.
Was a great meal for Mother's Day of Prime Rib or Windsor Loin. Salads and desserts were really good. Waitress was great and the bonus of a carnation for the ladies was special.
