Don’t need many words to describe the Rusty Rooster. Cold beer, pool tables, popcorn, pickled eggs and sausage. It’s the way you expect bars in small towns to be…just awesome.
One of my fav "secret" places amazing people and always a great time. And made to feel welcome. Just a small town bar and tasted like family. Found this place years ago from a busy if mine. And have visited often when our fishing or just because. Must check out the ice bar.
Been going to the Rooster for several years, for a bucket, keno, and popcorn, small-town setting, a great place to get away from Omaha. Most of the bartenders are great there is a couple that is a pain in the a** they act like it's a chore to serve you or write a keno ticket. Definitely would be out more often if weren't for them. Being in my 60's I've been around.....
