quiet stretch of the river, was a great place to teach children (7 and 9) to kayak - lots of turns and bends in nearly still water. Owner was helpfully and suggested a good trip for distance and a spot to break.
My bf and I rented Kayaks for the day and it was my first time. I honestly did not like it because it felt too claustrophobic for me. We didn't ask for any money back, as we had used the Kayaks, but she gave us half of our $$$ anyways. She was very accommodating and I would refer anyone looking to this place.
A fairly ordinary experience though a nice outside setting (lots of traffic noise). I had the "special" which was corned beef on rye with cheese. I believe that a bit more thought on this "special" might have actually produced that result. A corned beef sandwich ought to have a good Swiss cheese but it certainly seemed that what was in the sandwich was American cheese. I asked for honey mustard but if any made it to the sandwich it wasn't detectable....
