Ships all the way from Richardsons dairy farm. Best ice cream ever. Retired from Mass and was always a frequent visitor at Richardsons. So happy to have their ice cream close by my home.
Stillwells serves the best Richardsons ice cream and their prices are great and super affordable for the sizes they offer. Their staff is friendly and helpful and they always have a smile on their face. Their new location this year hasn't stopped the line from forming and customers flocking to their new location.
A great ice cream spot in Alton Bay! Servings are huge and the ice cream is wicked good. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because there was only one person working when I was there. Granted it was close to closing time, but I felt bad because there were about 20 people in the line. I'm pretty sure he was still serving ice cream past closing time. He was working hard, I made sure to leave him a tip! Other than that, all good!

Love Stillwell's ice cream. Great prices and service. My favorite order is German Chocolate with Coffee Oreo.
A must stop every time we’re in Alton. A cone and a walk down to the Bay to look at boats. Staff is always great.
It says here that they’re open til 9, but it’s 6:15 and they’re closed up, with customers outside.
Granted I went end of season. Ice cream was Meh.

Delicious with generous sizes. I got Almond joy and German chocolate cake and both were really good!!
Had apple pie ice cream and there was apples in it but no crisp no apple pie pieces nothing and then I had pumpkin. It was OK. Nothing to brag about. I definitely wouldn’t go back there. I live in Rochester and their Apple crisp ice cream is really delicious.
