Stillwells Ice Cream Alton Bay

It says here that they’re open til 9, but it’s 6:15 and they’re closed up, with customers outside.

Granted I went end of season. Ice cream was Meh.

Delicious with generous sizes. I got Almond joy and German chocolate cake and both were really good!!

Had apple pie ice cream and there was apples in it but no crisp no apple pie pieces nothing and then I had pumpkin. It was OK. Nothing to brag about. I definitely wouldn’t go back there. I live in Rochester and their Apple crisp ice cream is really delicious.

They have Richardsons ice cream. It's a 4 generation farm . They give a great portion too!

Great ice cream and the workers are always pleasant. My only criticism is that the plastic spoons are too flimsy.

I was driving by Stillwell's and saw their sign from the main road as I was craving ice cream after an awesome hike for the day on Mount Major. I pulled into the parking lot area in front of Stillwells. First time here so wasn't sure on what I would be getting or what they even had to offer. They have a really cute open wooden shed-like area with a counter you stand at to give your order. There are a few picnic tables available as well. Well guess what they had my favorite ice cream which is Grape nut ice cream. This is hard to find and I was so happy I was actually going to receive what I really wanted and not an alternative. My Dad's favorite was Grape nut Ice cream and I guess that may be why I enjoyed it. Plus it makes me feel like my Dad is with me eating the Grapenut ice cream. The service was very good and the Grapenut ice cream was delicious! I did not have to wait long, they were courteous and kind. I would highly recommend a visit to Stillwell's Ice Cream in Alton Bay NH.

I am so excited to find Richardson ice cream up here in NH I loved it in MA at Skinners sugar house in EB and I have missed Bubble Gum ice cream so so much and here it is in Alton Bay !!!
Along with Grape nut the best of both worlds!!! And watermelon sherbet ALL MY FAVORITE!!!!
