Amazing restaurant! Great food, friendly staff and wonderful vibes. Such a comfortable atmosphere and Brian is an amazing host who was both friendly and informative. Everything we ordered was great from appetizers, drinks, main course and dessert. Can’t wait to go back!

Fall salad and New England pot roast dinner was delicious. I liked the creaky wood floors, and the wooden screen door closing mechanism- a rope through a pulley rigged up to the ceiling, tied to a paint can!

My husband and I came for a late lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. I ordered the pork pork mac & cheese, which was excellent. my husband ordered pot roast, which was tender and so much meat. He couldn’t even finish the vegetables and he’s a big eater. I love to decor and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Might’ve found my favorite place to eat!

I would come here daily if I could!!!! So wish they had locations outside of NH, as it's a really far drive from Chicago! Everything was amazing... the hostess, the (free) cheese & crackers, DELICIOUS bread, phenomenal drinks, and fantastic food (I especially recommend the Almost Escargot app and Pumpkin Marscapone Ravioli entree from their fall menu). Our waitress was the icing on the cake! Unfortunately we were too full for dessert! Not sure when we'll be in NH again, but we will definitely find one of their locations! (The Ashland location again, if at all possible!)
The entire restaurant has been upgraded and rearranged for a great dining experience. The U-shaped bar looks awesome for hanging out and watching sports.

Had dinner with a friend 9/24/25. I had pot roast which was not to the standard I have had there before. The gravy was very salty. Pot roast was dry. My friend had chicken pot pie, when she opened the top the crust was not cooked very dough. She told the server, she took the crust back to the kitchen they put it in the oven to finish cooking it. Over all the quality was not there. Very disappointed. Not the Commonman I have before

We sat outside on the Upper Deck area! The Service that they provide from the moment you walk in the door with a Very Friendly Greeting to the Excellent Service from our Server to the GM checking in on us and grabbing some plates we where finished with! 5 Star Service and Food For Sure!!! Look forward to our Next stop at Ashland Common Man for another Great Meal! Our Server was also tending Bar and yet he kept our Drinks Full and Service never Lacked for a Second! Super Friendly and Attentive!
