The Tavern is a nice place with good food, a nice atmosphere, and friendly service. I'd give 5 stars except for one thing. They are not well set up for single diners. I've been there twice when the only choices were the bar, or one of three high top tables that are rather in a walkway, and a bit drafty. Also, being short the higher tables are not as comfortable.
Will definitely be back to the BVI soon for brunch again and maybe even to try out dinner. First time here for brunch but won't be out last. The Bedford Village inn is classic, quaint NH. Brunch started with mimosas and oysters,then moved on to eggs Benedict and a French dip and ended with coffee and a slice of coconut cake for two. The food and service were both great!

Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms, bathrooms (the tub) was definitely a highlight. We lost power during the storm and they were so accommodating, Noah and Ciarra were very pleasant and helpful, shoutout to the staff & of course housekeeping! Also the restaurants on property are wonder, so delicious. Amazing menus & also great staff! Thanks Bedford Villave Inn
