As a former head chef I can appreciate how they do business. Very good atmosphere and more importantly, 5 star service. Had an issue with a pizza that I ordered and they not only remade both for me, they also gave me a gift card for the inconvenience. As someone who worked for four and five star hotels, this is where most other places miss the mark.

Overall great experience. The bar scene is weird, they are protective over seats and it's hard to hang out while waiting for your table. But our food was fantastic and Erin, our waitress, has a fantastic personality and really personalized our dining experience. I wouldn't be leaving this five star review if it weren't for her making our night out memorable!

Before last night this review would have been 5 stars all day every day. Last night changed my opinion that honestly will make it hard to return. We've been coming to the Copper Door for the 4+ years we lived in the state and has always been one of our favorites. Had our first dinner to celebrate getting engaged as well as anniversaries before and after that. Before getting into this experience, I must first say our server was wonderful and we left him around 35% tip of what the original bill was. This time we came and I ordered the NY strip med rare as I always do and when it came out it didn't look right like it normally does. It was barely warm and seemed much closer to the rare side. After being in the service industry for more than 5 years I don't like to send food back but I was not comfortable with how it was cooked. Our server was very understanding and left me my side to munch on and said he would handle the steak situation. I did not expect for a manager to come back out to me to put the steak in my face and make me explain what's wrong with it and why I'm not happy with it and then tell me that the kitchen manager told me its fine and if I order another one I won't like it anyway so what do I want her to do. The entire situation was very confrontational and made me very uncomfortable where even our server noticed how uncomfortable it was and came back over to help ease the tension. After waiting a few minutes later for the refire we finally asked if we could just get it to go because all we wanted to do at that point was leave. Thank you for a memorable anniversary dinner as it will take a lot for us to return to your establishment.
The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the portion size was generous. The staff was attentive and provided excellent service throughout the meal. Copper Door exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for a memorable dining experience.

The atmosphere was great. Our server, Brian, was amazing and helpful with my insane diet restrictions!!! Food was delicious!!!! We live 2 hours away but would consider making a special trip to enjoy again!

Our waitress sarah was not good… never acknowledged our friends 75th birthday which is why we were there.. messed up. Our bottle of wine we ordered… we would never want her to wait on us again… we spent over 300 dollars and my friend never got acknowledged for her bday.. and she knew it was a special occasion!!! Plus my husbands dinner was not hot but he didn’t what to. Ruin our dinner.. she is not!!!! A good waitress!
