We decided to join some friends and meet at the Trattario Fondi on a recent Friday night. We had called and was informed that the do not accept reservation but if we arrived early there was a good chance of seating. We arrived at 4;30 and was told there was a wedding rehearsal party that would be celebrating until 6:00 or after. It would seem fair that if you are inquiring about a particular date to make reservations, then it would be nice to be informed. Example--the restaurant...
The tavern and the restaurant are outstanding! The food is top notch - we equated it to our recent dinner at the four seasons. I like the tavern because it’s a bit more casual atmosphere. It’s extremely reasonably price for the high quality of food. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else in the area because there is no comparison.
