The coffee, food and ice cream are all amazing but honestly the staff here is what makes everything even better. The girls are on top of it- the service is beyond excellent , and everyone is also very friendly! Love this place!

My friend who lives in Bedford told me The Inside Scoop was the real deal and she never lets me down. Lines were always curling around the store every time we tried to visit during Labor Day weekend, so we patiently waited for near closing time on the Thursday night after for my first trip. With a fabulous array of unique flavors and a staff of cheerful, friendly folks, the Inside Scoop has everything you want in an ice cream shop (that also serves coffee and has a menu of food items it serves until 4 PM). The scoop orders for our group of four included : Oreo, Coffee Oreo, Peanut Butter Oreo and Maine Black Bear (raspberry ice cream with chocolate chunks and chunks of raspberry truffles.) The kiddie scoops are huge - trust us, one of those is more than enough for a great dessert!

They had ONE vegan option- lemon sorbet. Ordered iced coffee instead- got charged $1 extra for oat milk AND the coffee was watered down and tasteless. Forgot one of two ice creams ordered and the place wasn’t busy.

We came here for a bite to eat and orange creamsicle soft serve that we saw posted on their facebook. Unfortunately, food is not served after 4pm, which I did not see stated on their website/menu. And unfortunately they were out of the creamsicle soft serve and were now serving pineapple. Their hard ice cream is Richardson. I ordered a kids cup and paid for myself, after my friend did the same. Portion sizes were way off, one a lot bigger than the other, not sure if it was luck of the draw, but the same person scooped both, one order left a tip, the other didn’t. They have some outdoor seating at picnic tables. If all tables are full I’ve seen people bring blankets and sit on the grassy hill.

If you are looking for original flavors you need to try The Inside Scoop. With seasonal specials and the standard flavors there is something for everyone. Prices are average for an upscale ice cream shop and it is worth the price. We have not tried the food yet but there are plenty of tempting choices on the menu.

Amongst all of the ice cream shops in NH, Inside Scoop has the best waffle cone ($1 extra). Can't believe how thin and CRISPY it is, but able to hold so much thick ice cream! Mint chip is phenomenal.
The team works like a well-oiled machine, pushing out orders nonstop. Establishment is brightly lit and clean inside, seating indoors and outdoors.
Dietary restrictions: Frozen yogurt, sorbet, and some gluten-free options are available on the chalkboard inside.
