If you are looking for a nice dinner in the Merrimack/Amherst/Bedford/Manch area, try Trattori Fondi at the BVI! We have been several times and it does not disappoint!
I got the chance to catch up with one of my girls there last night. It is our usual meet up spot and such a great atmosphere and meal! The staff is beyond kind and I love that they can read a room. Anyone leaving a poor review for Fondi is more comfortable at an Olive Garden. I have been coming here since they opened and have never been disappointed. Pizzas, pastas, appetizers.... they are all excellent. And the bar is a true gem to be found in Bedford.
The restaurant is part of the hotel (in front of the lobby). The focaccia bread, the burrata, the Caesar salad, mushroom pizza with pancetta, and semplice with rigatoni, white sauce, and chicken were all delicious.
Not so tasty were the espresso martini and warm apple crostata dessert (the crust was not well made).
I recommend this restaurant, we had a good meal and good service.
