First: The chefs at the Pot Pie Bar do not put as much salt and spices (black pepper for one) into their pies as we US Americans have become accustomed to consuming. This is a good thing. This was our first time and we picked up a large Short Rib Pie. The pie is a bit underseasoned, had a reasonable amount of meat and potatoes, but it was lacking carrots. Maybe start adding some celery, as well? Carrots and celery are cheap enough! I make all our own meals, so $23.95 for the short rib pie was a little on the high side for me to pay. We had the classic pot pie and cheeseburger Mac and cheese pot pie tonight and it was delicious! This was our first time trying the pot pie bar and it did not disappoint! So many different ones to choose from. We looks forward to adding them to our rotation of easy and delicious dinners!
