A bit loud sometimes in bar section. Comfortable and less noise in dining rooms. Service varies considerably because they are often understaffed, especially when busy. Food portions vary wildly. Quite noticeable when multiple orders of the same dish are at a table. Family friendly.
This is just the perfect eclectic place my wife and I look for. It’s rich in history and far from any chain restaurant. This is a family house converted to a restaurant and run by the same family for 80 years. The cook has been there for 30 years and lives upstairs. Our servers where attentive and friendly. We were a bit hesitant to try this place because it only had 2.8 stars, but the location was good so we went anyway. It was good!!!! The garlic bread was nicely toasted. The side salad was nothing to write home about. Yawn. We had eggplant parm and chicken parm. So tasty! Nicely breaded not greasy, crispy, just the right amount of sauce.
