“Wow, wow!!! What a place! I had breakfast at The Brew in Brentwood, and wow—this fried chicken sandwich was like no other I’ve ever had, unbelievable! Every bite was phenomenal. You can tell they put so much care into what they make here. On top of that, the staff is insanely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more of their food. “We had lunch there today with 2 friends. My wife and I split a 3 meat platter. I also ordered 2 extra sides to try them.

Fabulous!!!!! Cole slaw, Mac and cheese, macaroni salad an jambalaya were all excellent. And you can tell it's all homemade.
Kielbasa, brisket and ribs were great as well. So much better than the Texas barbecue we had in Houston.
We will be going back.

“Eating inside the restaurant helps make up for me being 0% italian. They greet you like family and you’ll feel the warmth.

Most of the meals we have ordered have been good. We have been upcharged by a lot (doubled the price of an entree) for substitutions like shrimp instead of sausage even when there is a shrimp dish with a similar price to my original order.”

“My husband took me here last night for our Aniversary. He knows I love duck. We were greeted at the door and sat us right away. Our waiter Andrew kept us content with making sure everything was fine with the appetizers drinks entrees and the dessert. The food was amazing. The duck was excellent and my husband's short ribs were delicious. I would definitely go back again. We went early and still made reservations which I suggest you make as I heard this place gets packed on the weekends.”

“I had heard about this place online and saw it was to far away from me and I was not disappointed one bit. This place is so incredibly cute and the atmosphere was so freaking amazing being able to sit down and drink my coffee in the sun was just amazing and just everything about the vibe of where they are located to the really awesome layout they have I have nothing bad to say, baristas were extremely nice and everyone was incredible there!

“My wife and I were in the area. Stopped for a late breakfast. Spacious, clean and friendly. Decor was local, natural and fun. Loved the light covers that appeared to be blue sky with occasional puffy clouds. Nice touch. Our server was amazing. Im not sure how her name is spelled but I think it was close to Ava (ah-va). Super friendly, good humor, very attentive. I did not have to ask for any of my 3 coffee refills. :) but not overly aggressive. I love dipping my toast in over easy eggs. First bite was noticeably good. I know you think eggs are eggs but my wife got scrambled and had the same reaction. Yum. Toast was hot and crispy. Bacon thick cut and crispy not burned. Average sausage patty. Thin ham with crispy edge was a nice difference. French toast was thick buttery with a healthy cinnamon taste. Home fries crispy with a light seasoning. And hollandaise was thick not oily. Prices were competitive not the cheapest but certainly not to expensive. GREAT breakfast :)”

“Easily one of the best restaurants in Newmarket, but also the whole Seacoast. Their crab Rangoons are like none other, and they have the best Pho I’ve ever had. I’ve tried to find similar executions of these dishes in different states but nothing beats the way Basil Leaf does it. Their curries are always delicious, and full of fresh veggies. I make it a point to come here at least once whenever I’m back home. The service is always amazing, the family that runs this restaurant is so kind and happy to have you every time.”

We ordered the berries & cream and spice cake with apple filling for our tiered cakes and both flavors were delicious. We shared some inspiration photos and our florist’s proposal with Chickadee and they created such a stunning cake that perfectly matched our wedding florals. I highly recommend booking Chickadee Hill for your wedding cake!”
