Steak and cheese with a pillow-y soft sub roll was one of the best I've had, and a fresh salad with marinated chicken was a welcome relief from the wilted veg and processed strips many places serve. Bonus: Got to keep up with the World Cup on the big TV. Can't wait to come back!”

“Wow, we are impressed. You all are fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable all home cooked super fresh Indian food. It was absolutely wonderful. They helped with all of our choices and we got to speak to them about their culture and where they were from absolutely wonderful. We will be eating there again. The place is very clean. “My husband took me here last night for our Aniversary. He knows I love duck. We were greeted at the door and sat us right away. Our waiter Andrew kept us content with making sure everything was fine with the appetizers drinks entrees and the dessert. The food was amazing. The duck was excellent and my husband's short ribs were delicious. I would definitely go back again. We went early and still made reservations which I suggest you make as I heard this place gets packed on the weekends.”

“If you haven't been to the new location of Fresh AF, you need to run, don't walk!! Everything you get will be amazing!! I have been twice in 2 days- and this will just be my review for today! I finally was able to get some pictures before we ate it all! First, the new place is beautiful. Taryn did a great job, to create a warm, and welcoming place. Everyone is friendly, even when there are lines- which yes, sometimes there are- they move very quickly, the staff is excellent, and they move everyone along quickly. The cases are filled with mouthwatering sweet and savory treats, from croissants, hand pies, cupcakes, to tarts, to macarons, to donut pops, and multiple rotating items. New introductions in the grab and go section I have tried today, and can vouch for! On today's list of goodies, I bought us, a potato skin hand pie- oh my. You will want more than one!! So incredibly good- it is like a twice baked potato, with bacon, cheese, chives and some sour cream on top of a croissant like crust. (I am not a baker so forgive me for my non technical terms))! I also bought a veggie hand pie, and a Fenway hand pie- sausage, peppers, and onions. Yum! The strawberry shortcake stuffed donut was to die for! It was devoured in less than 3 minutes by us. The homemade whipped cream is ridiculously good! I lied- I will also tell you about the trifles that I have bought on my past 2 weekends. The first weekend was a strawberry shortcake (?) trifle, and last weekend a blueberry cheesecake trifle. Oh. My. God. There went the diet. The whipped cream did me in. Lastly, I bought the chopped Italian salad with burrata. It is so good!! That was my dinner today, it was so filling, and oh, and the burrata with the hot pepper jam on it was just fantastic!! Seriously, I am so happy she moved to Plaistow! This place is AMAZING!! *Just to note, this review is a few weeks old, it is my Yelp Review :) However, I can add my Quiche from this morning was outstanding!!!!”

“My wife and I were in the area. Stopped for a late breakfast. Spacious, clean and friendly. Decor was local, natural and fun. Loved the light covers that appeared to be blue sky with occasional puffy clouds. Nice touch. Our server was amazing. Im not sure how her name is spelled but I think it was close to Ava (ah-va). Super friendly, good humor, very attentive. I did not have to ask for any of my 3 coffee refills. :) but not overly aggressive. I love dipping my toast in over easy eggs. First bite was noticeably good. I know you think eggs are eggs but my wife got scrambled and had the same reaction. Yum. Toast was hot and crispy. Bacon thick cut and crispy not burned. Average sausage patty. Thin ham with crispy edge was a nice difference. French toast was thick buttery with a healthy cinnamon taste. Home fries crispy with a light seasoning. And hollandaise was thick not oily. Prices were competitive not the cheapest but certainly not to expensive. GREAT breakfast :)”

“My husband took our 4 boys out for a father/son day, so I decided to take my daughter out for a late breakfast. We ended up at a restaurant that’s been on my radar for awhile, Roasted coffee bar in Haverhill (181 Groveland St).. and I’m so happy with our choice! It’s a small spot tucked in a residential area, parking at the restaurant is limited but plenty of on street parking. It’s bigger inside than I expected though, with several tables along with some comfy looking armchairs. Very cozy atmosphere with plants and other pretty decor. Spotlessly clean as well. They offer a variety of creative sandwiches, toasts, waffles, salads, and wraps along with all sorts of coffee and tea based drinks. I opted to “make my own” and I chose buttermilk fried chicken with bacon, pickles and whole grain mustard on a homemade biscuit. My daughter ordered one of their specialty sandwiches called “Spice Of Life” which is Buttermilk fried chicken, maple-sriracha syrup, cheddar cheese, bacon and house-made pickles.. she also got hers on a biscuit. Everything was absolutely delicious! We both agreed that these were the best biscuits we’ve ever gotten in any restaurant we’ve ever been to. Flaky and buttery.. they melt in your mouth.. I could eat a plate of those plain and be perfectly happy! But the chicken was also fantastic..juicy and tender, super crispy and flavorful crust. The bacon they use is excellent.. very smoky flavor. Their (House-made) pickles are a bit sweeter than standard pickles but still very good. These are hefty sandwiches too. They don’t skimp on portions at all. Prices are between $10.00 and $14.00 each which I feel is perfectly reasonable considering both the quality and the sheer amount of food they give you. For drinks I got an iced latte with skim milk and caramel, my daughter got an iced matcha latte with almond milk and vanilla syrup. Drinks were great, coffee had a nice robust fresh roasted flavor. My daughter said the quality of the matcha they use is very good. The staff was super friendly, and the service was quick. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Lots of ppl were coming in to get take out too (you can order online via “spot on” seamless, grubhub and Uber eats). They are open 7 days a week from 7am until 2pm. Great food, great staff, great restaurant! Highly recommend you give them a try!”

“A lovely dining experience! Ambience is very nice, super clean, great service, and good array of food options. Deserts were average, dinner was solid. Pasta was overcooked, but chicken parm was quite good. Big parking lot out back with plenty of parking. Nice spirited bar too. We will definitely go back for a repeat performance!”

“We can’t get enough of this place. We chose Chickadee Hill for our wedding cake, and we got a mini replica cake for our one year anniversary. No need to keep the top of the original cake in a freezer for the year when they can make you a fresh one. This Valentine’s Day they were selling cupcakes and other sweets. We got 6 cupcakes, 2 of them being our wedding cake flavor, and some chocolate covered strawberries. They also sold individual chocolate covered strawberries in cute containers that our kids loved. I definitely recommend this place. Always delicious, and excellent customer service as well!”

Appetizers were fantastic but entrees weren't equally enjoyable. 5 steaks served for our table and 4 were fantastic but the bone-in sirloin was grisly for the cost. Scallop risotto was undercooked and subpar. Ladies room was missing basic paper needs and dirty.”
