I hesitated to give it one star. The burger was previously frozen, tasteless & tough. Even complaining about the quality got us nowhere. The steak & cheese was over the top greasy. Steak was chopped into tiny bits floating around in a soggy roll. Also purchased pastries that had an over the top sugar filling. A total disaster. Very disappointing.

Lindy’s Country Store at 405 Middle Rd in Brentwood is a hidden gem! Their pre-made take out items are fantastic. Their pistachio cake is dreamy and their traditional Classic Neapolitan style pizza is to die for! It’s the most Italian style and tasting pizza I’ve had outside of Italy. ??. If you want authenticity, head to Lindy’s.
They are gracious hosts. The food is delicious. There is ample parking in front of store and across the street, overlooking the river. If you need a quick bite, be sure to stop in. We met the owner Bill tonight and he was really nice. Said they’ve owned Lindy’s for 17 yrs. His wife is owner too and also cooks. Get yourself to Lindy’s! You won’t be sorry.

Really good pizza there. I just miss the Lindys of the past when it was actually a country store. When my kids could ride their bikes there and buy Penny candy. Now it's just mostly take out food.

I had the turkey, stuffing and cranberry sub. It was delicious and could have been 2 meals. The star of the show was the pistachio cake they had. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and so flavorful. I’ll be looking for it again! The ladies were happy and friendly, as always!

We stopped for subs on the way home today and they were delicious. Especially the turkey and dressing, my favorite! And the brownie I got was heavenly! I'm just sorry we live so far away. This is a great little place, it has a long history too, based on the photos on the walls.
Absolutely adorable little country store/restaurant ? Very kind ladies working , knew so many customers' names like they stopped by their favorite Aunt's house for a delicious lunch. Sat outside on the front porch and enjoyed the scenery and sound of the waterfalls.

Got the chicken parm and it was fire. No frills or anything fancy.
Just chicken, an incredible sauce, cheese, and a delicious roll.
Seriously, the sauce makes the whole thing and just brings me back to my childhood.
